AI? Copilot = Covid

1. After Covid, what Microsoft marketing person chose the name Copilot for AI.

-In Microsoft, their AI Copilot is just another version of Clippy. Clueless, irritating.

2. To me, AI should know what I typically do - how I organise my files on my laptop, in my inbox

-It should help me

-Microsoft Copilot, all AI, does none of that

3. So far, AI is ChatGPT - summaries of my Google searches.

So if you absolutely must use Windows (and you f*cking don't) then setup a local account only, say NO to all the questions, turn off Oneclous and copilot and Cortana and uninstall them, use FFox instead of Edge.

Or just turn them off in the Autostart and use them only when YOU want to.

HTG I'm not gonna suggest save your docs, pix and booknarks.passwoirds to a stick and install Linux Mint, cuz pointing and clicking on an OS with a different name is just too hard for most of you. Besides it's your duty to free enterprise to pay rent for Office and Photoshop and antvirus crap the sales guy talked you into.
Like the old POS on my desk, the guy just CAN'T use anything but Windows so he's getting Win11 on an ancient Lenovo 4GB Core2 even though MSoft says you can't.

OMG that Lenovo COre2 was unusable. She bought it refurbed from XP to Win7 and added 10 later, No shit it took 5 minutes to boot, at least 5 more to open a program.... up to 2 minutes to respond to a click and can't keep up with the keyboard! And she was using it.... it's just a little slow. So she's giving it to her hubby!

Can't do a fresh Win install unless they buy a key. So it's now Pi OS 386 off a used SSD. Boots in under 20 secs, Chromium & Firefox boot and load in seconds and it works better than new. LibreOffice set to load&save as MSoft and I'll hand him the old HD with Win10 in case he doesn't like it...

BTW that thing was a 32 bit, so it couldn't run Win 11 no matter what. Not even a modern Linux.
But is can run Raspian.386 better than it could run Windows 7 when they first got it
