They forced me to go to free school...in Rochdale College, look it up, you'll get a hoot. You think universities are centres of political idealism and experimentation today? I said fùck school and got a job. I guess I would have been about 13. I was logging and fishing by 15. I eventually got back into schooling over the years to get tickets and certificates and such. But at the start of the second year, I was presented with an opportunity I couldn't resist. So I dropped out and went to work. Years later I took a number of tech courses and even taught for IBM Learning Services...back when that division still existed.
