Yeah I know that most do not think about these groups and I am skeptical as well. However both James Tucker and Alex Jones will be in town to investigate the group. Me and a couple pals are getting together that weekend and getting out there to see what the deal is. Really I just want to meet Alex Jones in person.

As far as I know this is the first time they have been holding a meeting in Canada. Getting my camera (still and video) ready for that weekend, and got the days booked off :)

According to Wiki they held their annual meeting in Toronto in 1996.

Sheez, its obviously not so secret if everyone knows about the meeting. As far as I'm concerned, its a group of business people who get together to discuss world business, and eventually, anybody who's anybody will eventually be invited. The only nefarious thing about it, is that which conspiracy theorists like to make up.

Then againk maybe the Bilderbergers are in league with the people who covered up the Roswell UFO landing -

Do you think the Bilderberger hotel serves burger burghers .

BTW Pierre Trudea was a Bilderberger too.

And how many Presidents have been Freemasons?

And how many were Protestant ?

I only mention this because Freemasonry is still considered a "secret" organization by many. It is not a religion either, but it is an esoteric group still shrouded in mystery. I found it interesting that the following Presidents were members:

George Washington, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson,

James A. Garfield, William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, William H. Taft, Warren G. Harding,

Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman,Gerald Ford

Thats because most people don't know that much about the masons, as with the Bilderbergers, if they don't know anything, they make it up as they go along.

Freemasonry today for the most part, is a fraternal org. for men, most of whom are involved in charity work. Nothing nefarious about it, heck we even go to their dances now and then (with friends) don't see any dead chickens or goats there either. :)-

Kerry was a Skull and Bones man too, but so what, just another men's frat.

Bilderberg is probably what the conspiracy theorists make it out to be, a big secret meeting of the most powerful people in business.

But if you expect these people, with so much on the line in regards to political outcomes, not to meet yearly and discuss trends and how to influence politics, you'd be crazy.

Companies and businessmen lobby the government all the time, they all likely have shared interests, so why not provide a united front. The labour movement does, and I'd call big labour a much bigger threat to our freedom (esp. economic) then big business ever will be.

Seems to me both Bush's were into Skull and Bones. And how many Presidents have been Freemasons?

I think however, if you sent me to Yale, and every year I got to pick some of the best, brightest, most well connected students in Yale I would probabley compile an organization of world leaders as well, not because I control the world but because when I start with Carbon and a shitload of pressure and heat given time I will create a diamond.

The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. - Ayn Rand

So I am still heading out there tomorrow with my camera (not like I will uncover anything). am really surprised about the amount of press this group has gotten in our press.

Ottawa Sun had a 2 page article.

Ottawa Citizen has a blurb on it.

CTV.ca has articles on it. All over the press. amazed.

Also seems like Alex Jones was held at the gates at the Ottawa Airport when he landed. He was stopped at the gates by request of the Bilderbergs (Ottawa Sun), but after a CBC and an Ottawa Citizen reporter told the security guards he was actualy a press member. He was being held and they checked out his computers to find any porn. Even if the porn was legal they would incarcerate him. The other two reporters vouched for him and he was set free.
