Aussies are nervous:  https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clygvl01y5ro

Quote

Australia's defence minister Richard Marles has called on China to explain why it needs to have "such an extraordinary military build-up".  He said Beijing needs to provide greater transparency and reassurance as it is the "fundamental issue" for the region.

China with apparently an extraordinary military build-up and making more of a presence in the South China Sea to counter US strength there.

I am surprised that this surprises anyone.

America defeated the Soviets. Deng changed China.

From 1990 to 2020 or so, for a brief time in recent world history, ordinary people could freely travel.

We had such a world before 1914.

No the Chinese are screwed regardless of what they do. The common misperception is that China owns Taiwan when in reality the United States owns Taiwan. The security elites have already made it clear that the first island chain is paramount for US national security, we’re not giving it up without a fight, assuming they even want to fight us.

Instead of worrying about the Chinese military build up. You should pay attention to the United States quiet military build up in the region and back home. We’re gearing up for another pacific campaign. This isn’t our first time fighting for the island either. I pity the fool who shoot the first shot at our Military.
