Former White House press-secretary Stephanie Grisham:

Grisham then accused the former president of mocking his supporters in private, saying: “He calls them basement dwellers. On a hospital visit one time, when people were dying in the ICU, he was mad that the cameras were not watching him. He has no empathy, no morals and no fidelity to the truth.”

Wait and I thought it was another guy, what was it, Goebbels? No credits, really?

"It doesn’t matter what you say, Stephanie, say it enough and people will believe you"

He has "no empathy, no morals and no fidelity to the truth"

Sounds like you regular neighborhood guy you know? There's nothing here we couldn't see.

Yeah, I am going to take her accusations with a grain of salt. She claims he said all these horrible things, but she was there right until the end of his presidency. Reminds me of the aide who said Trump grabbed the steering wheel.

There would be nothing unusual in such an attitude. Putin says the same things, and Kim. That may just be the nature of the deep attraction.

I was going to ask how many of these have to be debunked before the left stops believing them. But, clearly, there is no lie the left won't believe if it accuses Trump of something.

The Rules for Liberal tactics:

  1. If they can't refute the content, attack the source.
  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

Yes, it's not an objective fact as there may not have been witnesses. But an individual said it openly in front of the country, so it can be taken as a possibility that is well aligned with other observations and objective facts. So this is nothing like reposting a lying meme, pretending that it had anything to do with the truth. Agree?

Grisham is speaking at the DNC. She's not an unbiased source that is revealing the truth. She's a partisan liar.

Probably not. Still, she is speaking her mind openly about something she has seen from her own name. This is nothing like posting anonymous lying memes and peddling blatant lies, like "rigged election". These are just two different things, and behaviors. Yes one can say something important to the people even if it wasn't or cannot be confirmed as an objective fact. But if and when one is spreading lies deliberately there's a good term for it: liar.
