Russian trolls target U.S. support for Ukraine, Kremlin documents show

Quote

When President Biden proposed an additional $24 billion in supplemental funding for Ukraine in August, Moscow spin doctors working for the Kremlin were ready to try to undermine public support for the bill, internal Kremlin documents show.

In an ongoing campaign that seeks to influence congressional and other political debates to stoke anti-Ukraine sentiment, Kremlin-linked political strategists and trolls have written thousands of fabricated news articles, social media posts and comments that promote American isolationism, stir fear over the United States’ border security and attempt to amplify U.S. economic and racial tensions, according to a trove of internal Kremlin documents obtained by a European intelligence service and reviewed by The Washington Post.

Take a good look at Russian election interference 2024. Looks a lot like the majority of interference from 2016. AKA TROLLS and BOTS run by the Internet Research Agency. 🤮

House Republicans Are Amplifying Russian Propaganda

Quote

GOP Rep. Mike Turner said Sunday that Russian propaganda has taken hold among some of his House Republican colleagues and is even "being uttered on the House floor."

"We see directly coming from Russia ... communications that are anti-Ukraine and pro-Russia messages, some of which we even hear being uttered on the House floor," Turner, chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union."

"There are members of Congress today who still incorrectly say that this conflict between Russia and Ukraine is over NATO, which of course it is not," he added.

Only voice of reason in the Republicon House.

Remind me again, which presidential candidate has offspring that collected money from a Russian Oligarch that just happened to be exempted from sanctions?

You mean Trump's campaign manager Paul Manafort who worked for Putin stooge Yanukovych in Ukraine and had a long term contract with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska?

That's why Manafort could work for Trump for "free," cause he was really working for Deripaska.

Actually, I was talking about this:

"WASHINGTON — Two Russian billionaire pals of Hunter Biden were again spared from being hit by financial sanctions as President Biden announced his latest round of penalties on numerous Vladimir Putin-connected figures Friday, the Post has learned."

https://nypost.com/2024/02/23/us-news/hunter-biden-linked-russian-oligarchs-spared-in-latest-500-name-sanctions-list/

How weird that the two oligarchs that Hubter knows just magically got left off the list.

Meanwhile, Manafort was sent packing.

But if Yanukovych is a problem if he is associated with someone, then wouldn't this be a direct problem for joe?

"The hiring of Hunter Biden, 44, by Burisma Holdings Limited in April was approved by the company’s owner, a former senior minister and political ally of Viktor Yanukovych, the exiled Ukrainian president. Yanukovych fled to Russia in February after protests erupted over his efforts to establish closer economic ties with Moscow."

I mean, if Yanukovych is bad news, then Hunter working with him should be really bad news, right?

Unlike Manafort, Hunter worked for Burisma AFTER Yanukovych fled to Moscow.

BTW, NYP is ALSO tabloid Murdoch trash.

Yanukovych was still active in the company. But you keep trying to trash the source even though you can't seem to refute the material.

I trash the source because it is unreliable  and OFTEN WRONG. Like this time:

Yanukovych the Putin stooge was the head of STATE and never worked at Burisma. He fled to Russia in Feb 2014. Hunter wasn't hired until April. You are confused.

Hunter Biden was named a paid board member of Burisma Holdings in April 2014. The company’s founder was a political ally of Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine’s Russia-friendly president, who was driven out in February 2014 by mass protests.

Next time find a legitimate source.

In the Cyrillic alphabet that's spelled ЭЛЛ

In fairness to Russians, they think it's all BS.

How about it? Since you've only posted a naked link, I have no idea what your point is. Do you?

Yanukovych appointed Burisma's owner to his ministry. But no, there were no ties.

Never said there were no ties, it is clear that Burisma got started with the owner's inside connections from his political position.

But that was ancient history and had NOTHING to do with Hunter Biden being on the Board.

Like every autocratic leadership, including Trump, YOU ONLY KNOW what they say and NEVER what they really think.

Cause the have NO RESPECT for the TRUTH, ONLY POWER.
