The University of Alberta says it has fired the director of its campus sexual assault centre after she signed an open letter calling reports of sexual violence during Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel an “unverified accusation.”

Of all people, she really should have opted to wait until all evidence is in the open, prior to making such a comment.

I mean, when you consider the sheer brutality by Hamas during their assault on sovereign land, it isn't a crazy far fetched idea that while they mutilated and stripped some women, that just maybe, they also raped their lifeless bodies.

I just don't understand how that is unthinkable. 

I mean, they have beheaded and gunned down women, children, babies and the like. 

Rape is beneath them?

It was really weak and stupid of her to pretend that there were no rapes. 

I know that she's being fired for her insensitivity, but her stupidity was also at the disqualifying level. 

 

It's worth noting that these "rapes" far exceed the threshold for what they refer to as "sexual assault" on a campus. There has probably never been a rape in the history of that university as brutal as the avg Israeli rape victim suffered Oct 7th.

I'd like to think that there aren't any women in captivity who are still being raped several times a day, but there probably are.

Yup. Theoretically she's a "leader", responsible for the developing minds of our future "leaders", yet there she was signing a terrorist propaganda leaflet.
