CdnFox Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/elections/after-crushing-impeachment-bid-ken-paxton-puts-critics-biden-border-and Two months after crushing a rushed effort to impeach him, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is plotting a dual tsunami designed to politically punish those in the Legislature who tried to remove him from office while putting Google, President Joe Biden and other liberal foes into his legal crosshairs. During a wide-ranging interview Friday night on the Just the News, No Noise television show, Paxton outlined his ambitious plans and made clear the impeachment travails he survived have only increased his resolve to reshape politics and the law in Texas. And he thinks GOP voters in the state are motivated to join the fight. Paxton is extending his political movement beyond the Legislature, hoping also to unseat three state appellate judges..... Paxton also is itching to proceed in a landmark Big Tech antitrust case after winning a judgment in the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to keep his lawsuit against Google in Texas rather than New York, where the search giant has tried to move it. Paxton also signaled he expects to fight in the courts again soon on the issue of whether states have the right to arrest illegal border crossers when the federal government doesn’t. The Supreme Court a few years ago in a case called Arizona v. United States ruled against the states having such powers. But the Texas Legislature just passed legislation making illegal border crossing a state crime. Paxton praised the Legislature, and said he expects the new law could soon land him in the courts again. He also has sued President Joe Biden more than four dozen times, scoring many wins. He predicts the insecure border will be a winning issue in the courts and next year’s election for conservatives. “Before Biden came into office, we were in the best shape we've been in my lifetime,” he said. CdnFox Posted November 19, 2023 Author Report Posted November 19, 2023 Wow This guy seems a little pissed at the dems for trying to weaponize the legal system against him This is the problem with the dem's approach. They don't work WITH people, they try to twist the system to attack them and push them out of the way. Then the war is on, and those people push back. Nobody succeeds in politics if they aren't the kind to fight back when attacked. So - all the dems do is promote hostility and division and things that USED to be considered 'inappropriate' between politicians now becomes commonplace. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out. Impeachment was brought by the REPUBLICAN RUN Texas House. Duh Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton acquitted on all 16 articles of impeachment Quote Only two of 19 Republican Senators voted in favor of convicting for any article — a stark contrast to the more than 70% of House Republicans who impeached the attorney general in May. 1 Quote

So in your mind, Paxton's "constant lawsuits against Biden" are "dems trying to weaponize the legal system against him [Paxton]"? Your crazy train is off the rails. LMAO And you're still wrong, as usual. Duh Quote

Now he's changed the law and taking them back to court yet again over this. And he's had to take them to court and won several times over their interference for political reasons already. LOL - so you realized you were wrong and now you're trying to salvage your comments? That's pretty sad kid, even for you. Do you ever get tired of looking like a clueless re-tard who knows less about what's going on than a Canadian who doesn't even live in your country? Asking for a friend. 1 Quote
