Jack Layton, Now More Stupid Then Martin?

Jack Layton has got to be the biggest flip-flopper in Canadian History. This man can not make up his mind. In one hand he clearly stated "The NDP will work with the tories to deliver results to Canadians--- if they win a minority government". And on the other hand he is now warning Canadiand against a minority Conservative government... you can't have it both ways!! How could you support them in one hand, but warn people against them in the other hand. I think Jack is starting to fight ugly becuase his party has been going down in the polls like wild fire. People are sick of his bull, and him always claiming that the NDP is the best party. Anyone remember Joe Clark? Premier of Ontario a while back... he ran the biggest deficiet we ever saw, and record tax heights. NDP is worst then the Liberals in my opinion. Atleast the Liberals know they are liars, the NDP are huge liars but are in big denial. I am 100% Conservative, and I think it's time for strategic voting. A vote for the NDP will make the Liberals form a minority government- so vote Conservative.

ps: I wouldnt be suprised if the Liberals paid off Jack Layton to say those things, go figure. :angry:

Hmmm. Somehow I don't see a lot of Dippers taking political advice from someone who is "100%" behind a party that is the polar opposite of the NDP. Just a hunch.

Just because someone says he will work with whatever party wins a minority govt. doesn't mean that he has to support them and say good things about them. You are really reaching by saying he is a flip-flopper. The real flip-floppers are the Liberals (by saying they'll cut the immigration head tax after introducing it in the mid 90s) and the Conservatives (who support tax credits for transit now, though they were against it before.)

Ugly to me is a party (Conservatives) who complains about Liberal dirty tactics but then come out with two very negative ads...almost hypocritical if you ask me.

Yep, I remember Joe Clark, a ex-Conservative PM who only lasted 6 months back in '79 and were soundly defeated the next election.

And if you want to look at terrible provincial govts., look at Grant Devine's Sasketchewan Conservative govt. in which many say was perhaps the worst provincial govt. in the history of the country. His corrupt govt. ran multiple deficits and was involved in a huge scandal in which many were arrested and charged.

I agree. it's time for strategic voting. Vote for anything other than the Conservatives and the Liberals, in otherwords vote for the NDP or other parties.
