If enough members of our military agree that someone is a hero, and demand that he's treated as such, doesn't that make mean that he's hero? Not even just a hero, but a hero among heroes. Would you be more proud to receive a VC, or to have thousands of veterans and soldiers from every branch of the military come to Ottawa to celebrate your heroism, courage, loyalty and your contribution to victory? If I rescue someone from a burning building there's no way that I'm letting Trudeau or one of his appointees hang a symbol off my neck. I'd rather live the rest of my life anonymously.
