After many years of really MEDIOCRE hip hop acts, spewing hate and racism, the Super Bowl just MIGHT be worth watching again, especially with two artists who clearly speak for the majority of America.

TRUE: Jason Aldean and Oliver Anthony to Perform at the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is no stranger to delivering top-tier entertainment, but the announcement that country stars Jason Aldean and Oliver Anthony are slated to perform at next year’s halftime show has fans on both sides of the aisle buzzing with anticipation.

Traditionally, Super Bowl halftime shows have been a platform for pop stars, rock legends, and occasionally a hip-hop act or two. However, in a bold move, the NFL has decided to shift gears, inviting two of country music’s brightest stars to grace the stage in what promises to be a foot-stomping, heart-pounding performance.

Choosing Aldean and Anthony is more than just a nod to the growing popularity of country music. It’s a reflection of the diverse tapestry of American music and a statement that the Super Bowl is for everyone, not just pop aficionados.

To bring some posters up, who may not be familiar with these two stars (and to tweak the goose stepping Nazi liberals who are about as tolerant as a KKK rally)

This is Jason Aldean, and the hit he created.

Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up
Yeah, ya think you're tough
Well, try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Got a gun that my granddad gave me
They say one day they're gonna round up
Well, that shit might fly in the city, good luck
Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Full of good ol' boys, raised up right
If you're looking for a fight
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
Ooh-ooh
Try that in a small town

And Oliver Anthony, a rather mediocre guitarist who opened at THE VERY TOP OF THE BILLBOARD CHARTS with this tune.

I've been sellin' my soul, workin' all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay
So I can sit out here and waste my life away
Drag back home and drown my troubles away

It's a damn shame what the world's gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is

Livin' in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control
Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do
And they don't think you know, but I know that you do
'Cause your dollar ain't shit and it's taxed to no end
'Cause of rich men north of Richmond

I wish politicians would look out for miners
And not just minors on an island somewhere
Lord, we got folks in the street, ain't got nothin' to eat
And the obese milkin' welfare

Well, God, if you're 5-foot-3 and you're 300 pounds
Taxes ought not to pay for your bags of fudge rounds
Young men are puttin' themselves six feet in the ground
'Cause all this damn country does is keep on kickin' them down

Lord, it's a damn shame what the world's gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is

Livin' in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control
Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do
And they don't think you know, but I know that you do
'Cause your dollar ain't shit and it's taxed to no end
'Cause of rich men north of Richmond

I've been sellin' my soul, workin' all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay

This is what America is all about. If you don't like it, get the fug out.

rarely watch the halftime show and so this year will be no exception. I actually watch it for the game. As a die-hard sports fan... I watch the NFL for the sport not the outside noise. The matchup is vastly more important than the half time shows. Anyways, good for Aldean and Anthony.

The matchups that I would like to see are 1. KC vs. SF and 2. BUF vs. SF

You don't seriously believe the OP? He lives in a fantasy land. There is no way this is true. The NFL is not stupid.

did some research and as of yet.. it is not true. Nice catch. Aldean is popular enough to be halftime-show material but Anthony... only has one song to draw from. The NFL is not stupid.. you are correct. They are in the business of making money and seem to be doing well.

I can't take credit. OP is so reliably fooled by random Internet shit that it's just a given. Sometimes it's harmlessly funny like this, but more often than not it's crass, cruel and thoroughly mean-spirited lies about marginalized groups. Save yourself some time and embrace the ignore list.

My favorite is the sincere belief that Aunt Jemima was not only a real person, but America's first Black millionaire. Cited a Pinterest post. ?‍♀️

The NFL has been losing rating points ever since it allowed those adult children to get away with kneeling during the National Anthem.

I'm not making it up. I cited a source.

Anthony did something pretty much EVERY gangsta rapper would sell his mother to South American prostitution for: MADE IT TO THE TOP OF THE BILLBOARD CHARTS.

That's impossible.

Super Bowl halftime?  Piece of cake.

Most of the country wants him.

Well. as of yet. your source is wrong. Who knows.. in November, we could see an official announcement that validates you. What Anthony did is impressive but it is only one song. To do a full halftime show, you need 5 or 6 hits that most of the audience will know.

NFL ratings have not been in freefall (https://www.statista.com/statistics/289979/nfl-number-of-tv-viewers-usa/). Yes, they went down the one year that Colin Kaepernick kneeled but some simple reading shows that it went back up after that year (2017).. Covid not kneeling is responsible for the decline in 2020.
