Anyway - just thought it was funny in case you could use a chuckle.  :)

Have another drink loser.

Sorry your personal hero looked a little silly.  I get that you like to fake being centrist but you're a pretty obvious left leaning fool, hardly surprising from a refugee from a communist country.

I'd teill you to be quiet if you had nothing intelligent to say but then you'd have to leave the board  :)

Like i said - it's a bit of humour.  If you don't know what humour is then this isn't the post for you. Maybe you've killed that part of your brain with booze.  What a pathetic little loser.

I will, what are you going to do?

Point and laugh like I always do :)  That's what everyone's going to do.

Nobody respects you. I don't have to 'enlist' anyone. Everyone knows you're a drunk loser with no brains or self control.   You'll run around making a complete ass of yourself. everyone will think you're a complete dickwad with no brains and chuckle. And i'll have fun making insults about you that you don't have the brains to retort to.

In the meantime you'll make a bunch of threats which will never actually amount to anything and everyone will know you're impotent as well as a drunk loser.

So go ahead :)

No, there will just be the laughing.  You're basically a joke :)

ROFLMAO - well fortunately they didn't need your permission, they'd already started :)  LOLOL

You have no idea how meaningless you are :)   Let me guess, you're now going to run around and follow me making stupid comments so that EVERYONE can see what a loser you are because you're such a loser you don't realize that makes you look like a ****** :) LOLOLOL

And once again you'll sober up in a few days and realize that you've lowered yourself in the eyes of the community. It's kind of sad - when you're not stone drunk (those rare occasions) once in a while you say something that's not TOO stupid.  But the booze ruins you, you're basically it's biatch.

Back to the topic at hand. In 1972, Bob Stnadfield was at a Toronto Argonaut practice and they started tossing him the football. 12 passes, and he was pretty good. The 13th pass was a bit off and Mr. Standfield dropped it. Guess which photo appeared in the Time Canada magazine. Bob Standfield lost the 1972 election by 100 votes spread over several ridings.

We like to use the little things that don't matter to smear the politician we don't like. Chretien or Harper (can't remember which) wore their army helmet backwards. Trudeau wearing make-up years ago at a masquerade party, President Trump mis-speaking, saying "markers" rather than marxists. Prime Minister Clark said that if he walked on water, his critics would say "Joe Clark can't swim."

The most important attribute of a Prime Minister is, is (s)he a good administrator who will take advice. It is not are they a pious person. MacKenzie King used to frequent the red light district in Ottawa and relied on dead people and his dead dog for advice. But he was the longest serving Prime Minister in the history of the British Empire. Harper looked like a humourless, bloodless man, but he was a good administrator.

Administrative ability and the ability to listen to and take advice from people who know what they are doing, pretty much sums up all you have to know about the candidates when you are deciding whom to support. Ideology, morality, and mistakes made years before, or the ability to catch a 13th forward pass, should not be a factor.

And then there's ford - the original not doug :)   Tripped and fell and the media made a huge deal of it - Chevy Chase basically built his career on SNL  mimicking ford tripping.  He lost the election as well,

The left wing media tends to focus on it more - you're not seeing a lot of late night jokes about Biden tripping but he does all the time. But everyone does it a little.

Symbolism matters to people.  If someone looks incompetent or clumsy then it's a strike against them.  A president or prime minster must look perfect.  That's the job. And if you fail people will hold it to account. Especially the left it would seem :)

Funny tho about how it was massive national news for standfield and ford but if you mention it about trudeau it's silence from most media and a scathing indictment from drunken secretly-on-the-left posters here :)

Contrarian stumbles upstairs late at night and bursts through the bedroom door with a duck under his arm. He announces in front of  his now awake annoyed wife that "This is the pig I've been screwing." The wife unimpressed said "You drunk arsehole... That's a duck". Contrarian says... "I was talking to the duck!"

I disagree. The critics of Prime Minister Trudeau are just as bad as the others. The ting is, President Biden, President Trump, and Prime Minister Trudeau all get their unfair share of this crap.

Sure it can - i've had family and friends who struggled. But - the moment you decide it's "ok" to lash out at others in that state then any sympath is out the window, And about once a month he goes on a bender and spends a couple of days threatening and attacking people - others before me and more recently me.  I think he goes after people he thinks are smarter than him, picking a fight with the big guy in teh room so to speak

So i'm not entirely ok wiht that.  If it was just about being drunk i'd have a lot more sympathy, and the first frew times when he applologized i blew it off and said no big deal.  But you can't just attack people and write it off as 'sorry i'm a drunk'.

You do that daily, after 2-3 exchanges, when someone can not keep to your standards you go after them with language.

  • and yet, you judge me.

Not too sure at the end, is it worse to be a sober bully, than me, a drunk bully?

You are not invincible:

I treat people the way they treat me.  Respectful and honest discussion gets treated with respect and honesty.  Dishonesty and insults get treated harshly.

But you're just a bully. You get drunk and go after people who haven't said a single word to you. You are the kind of man who drinks and beats women.  It's disgusting.

So - no sympathy.

I don't see it in the legitimate media (ie. CBC, Globe and Mail, Star Phoenix,) for either the Prime Minister or Mr. Poilieve, although this thread was based on something like that. The guy can't flip pancakes so how can he deal with global warming. I saw Premier Smith flipping pancakes like a Vegas dealer, but she is way out of her depth as a premier. Maybe she should accept she is better suited to being a short order cook.

Sorry brother, but not in the game of starting mobs.

I said what I had to say, for something more than interest, money, mobs, leftism, rightism.

It won't happen to enlist me to finish someone off, I am not a follower, state man.

Don't get me into your bun fight with the cdnfux. You bit at his BS and now you either have to swallow it or spit it out.

In my opinion, any interaction with him/her/it by anyone will only result in his/her/it's insult tirade.

We have done this dance before, haven't we. Remember the last exchange we had and I promised not to rebut your attacks and what did you do? Follow me around like a lost lamb. Bet you'll do it again, because in the end of the day, we know you are the butthurt one. Pathetic human being who will once again follow me around trying to get my goat. Go for it. Like last time I will just laugh my head off at your chasing me around.

You gave those reactions, as a signal to finish him off because he got the best of you in other threads.

Your bun fights are yours, when is the last time you started a thread for this community? Do it, and I will be there beside you, as a loyal man, won't show disloyalty, as long you put forward an idea, not bun fights.

Sorry, I try very hard to be civiI. I so do want to be on your side but you sure make it difficult.

Take my comment for what it is intended as , not through a haze you may be in.

Your obsession with my starting a post is getting very old. I do not need to start a post, others, like you,  do it very well and very quickly and I  participate. I do not need to post about pancake flipping or some other innocuous headline.

Anyway, enjoy your verbal fracas with cdnfux, he picks em to get ya.

I don't think PP's done something like that yet.  Or to be more accurate not done it on camera, we all screw up of course.

The guy can't flip pancakes so how can he deal with global warming.

That's the common impression these types of events give.  He always drops the ball, so why do we want him in charge.  He stumbles over simple things so why would we want him in charge. etc etc.

I saw Premier Smith flipping pancakes like a Vegas dealer, but she is way out of her depth as a premier. Maybe she should accept she is better suited to being a short order cook.

Seems to be doing good so far. She's a little like trump - says a lot of crap but actually the economy and the gov't in general is moving along nicely.

I also noticed that the cbc ran a nasty story about her writing emails just before the election and then just after had to admit it was all fake news. But we're kind of wandering into a different topic :)

Anywhoo - like i said in the beginning it's funny.  But it isn't to be taken too seriously although i'm sure some will.

Actually, there was nothing  wrong with the way he flipped the pancakes at all, the batter and whoever made it was bad.  LOL
