Thread listing all of the trials that Donald Trump is facing.

New York:

January 15, 2024: E. Jean Carroll I goes to trial. This is the original sexual assault/defamation trial, which has been amended to include defamatory statements Trump made the day after losing $5 million in E. Jean Carroll II. The judge also allowed amendments which add the evidence that a jury has already found Trump liable for sexual assault and defamation.  So the trial begins with the fact that sexual assault has occurred. Ouch, Donald! Carroll seeks a minimum of $10 million.

March, 2024: 34-count criminal indictment pertaining to falsification of financial records related to Stormy Daniels payments goes to trial.

October, 2023: $250+ million civil lawsuit brought by State AG against Trump for over-valuing financial assets goes to trial. Damages could reach over $1 billion.

Georgia:

DA indicated that indictment is likely around July/August 2023. Grand Jury convening pertaining to efforts by Trump, Giuliani and others to interfere with results of 2020 Presidential election.  Georgia has the nation’s strongest racketeering laws (RICO) and it is expected that Trump will be criminally charged under those laws, because he acted with the coordination of others to intimidate state elections officials.

The DA has also offered immunity deals to about half of the fake electors who attempted to replace the legally-certified Biden electors. This signals that additional charges are likely pertaining to efforts to overturn the election by replacing the electors.

Florida:

No trial date yet: 38-count Federal indictment for theft of classified documents and obstruction of Justice

Washington:

Indictment expected but not yet filed pertaining to January 6 insurrection. Criminal charges could include wire fraud, seditious conspiracy, and more.

The New York actions appear to be only civil, while Georgia’s appear to be criminal. These cases cannot be pardoned by the President of the US, only by the Governor of the respective state.
