Eli45 Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 HB 4249 amends state law regarding policies on drone use by state and local authorities. The proposed changes include having specific justifications for deadly force by a drone and requiring the order for deadly force from a drone to be made by the head of the agency that owns it Quote
Guest Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 It would certainly solve the speeding problem if they could use missiles from a drone. Quote
Eli45 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Report Posted March 17, 2023 Does this make you wanna be a liberal? Quote
Eli45 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Report Posted March 17, 2023 This is lethal force by the police, but they're trying to make it harder to use. Why? Does anyone know? Quote
Eli45 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Report Posted March 17, 2023 Why are the dems making it harder to use deadly force from drones? In Dallas back in 2016 they used a robot to shoot down the crazed gunman. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 Drones and Surveillance could provide a lot more support. But you should also make FOI requests for bodycams and communication immediately binding in tandem. More power, more accountability. Eli45 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Report Posted March 17, 2023 So then you do agree with the Dems TX legislature making changes as to how you use deadly force? Some of them claimed u don't want a robot malfunctioning. Any thoughts? Quote
Michael Hardner Posted March 17, 2023 Report Posted March 17, 2023 There's no link so I can only guess what universe you're referring to with a Dem controlled statehouse in Texas. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
Eli45 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Report Posted March 17, 2023 Well they may not control it but there are some dems voting for the bill. Quote

Never mind, I have looked it up... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fox7austin.com/news/texas-hb-4249-police-drone-use.amp Independent Democrat bill with a companion bill from a Senate Republican in the statehouse. Seems like a bipartisan effort. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
