The woke world would not accept any white nation entering Haiti, as would be seen as colonizers.

I think many Canadians are guilty of this, including myself.

It wasn't until I experienced a developing country as an adult that I realized to what extent.

True eye opener.

It made me hyper aware of wasteful ways, like letting my shower run before, or taps while doing dishes.

I now recycle paper, and am insanely aware of my waste.

I used to not care much for this.

I can also appreciate how incredibly out of touch I would seem, in complaining about Trudeau to someone from one of these countries.

Or calling what he is doing, a dictatorship, after experiencing what having little to no rights in some of the countries I have traveled to.

Crack downs which result in people getting shot without a thought.

Its made me truly appreciate being born in Canada, and understand why my parents were willing to struggle so bad to get us here.
