kimmy Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Despite that, Harper and his party voted against C-250 which suggests that perhaps their "religious freedom" rationale for opposing C-250 is entirely bogus and was designed to conceal other motives. If you go back and read my earlier message, you'll see that the "religious freedoms" concerns in regard to C-250 are far from bogus. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
justcrowing Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 The amendments obviously worked. Ah, it seems freedom of religion comes with socialist restrictions. Do as we say and not do as your beliefs command. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What restrictions? The court upheld the right of the Knights of Columbus not to rent their hall to lesbians. How does this relate to socialism? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well that's a change - must have been a CPC Judge. Quote

An excellent post, though. Quote
normanchateau Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 The amendments weren't enough for the radical left wing judges Martin has been appointing. They will find loop holes unless the protections are more than they are. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In your opinion, what decisions have they made that earns them the label "radical left wing" judges? The majority of Canadians support the Liberals, NDP or BQ. Do you think this silent majority views them as "radical left wing" judges or could it be that only Harper and his supporters do? Quote
justcrowing Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Then we can only come to another conclusion - that this country is run by left wing radicals who will destroy this country. Quote

How do his policies differ from the former Progressive Conservatives? How do they differ from Joe Clark's? Or are the former PCs also left wing radicals by your definition? Quote

I think Clark was an honest and decent man and the media and lefties laughed at him but now that he is no longer in power, suddenly he is respected. Talk about hypocracy. Quote

I gotta say tho, I think the media is starting to wake up just a tad, not too much mind, just a tad.. LOL If Harper can keep up the momentum he might manage to rid us of the sleaze. Quote
