Put another way, how on Earth could anyone describe Xi Jinping as a progressive? The man is as right wing and conservative in how he distributes power as Ebenezer Scrooge is when it comes to money.

Okay good.  I agree on the whole, except that the totalitarianism moves in Canada are mostly on the left.  Our Conservatives are very moderate.
