When I first read this article I mumbled to myself "who gives a rat's ass what Canadians think DND is going to do". But the majority of Canadians have not put two and two together, It is not just one or two government departments that have these issues, it is every one of them, the problem is not the military but Canadians... We the people just need someone or something to point a finger at, it is what we do.  And not just in our governmental institutions but everywhere in universities, college campuses, high schools, and almost every industry that is male-dominated. But instead of finding a country-wide solution, our government will contain it to DND, they are the problem and we will fix them with new dress codes, and beauty options. take the starch out of their sails.

But let's be honest Canadians don't really care about DND and what it does, there are bigger problems in everyone's lives, and when you get to the bottom of the pole like where DND hides out, there is not much give a fuck factor left. which begs to ask why would soldiers be concerned about what Canadians think about them, well they don't really. we've been conditioned for decades by Canadian civilian attitudes and actions.
