Lying Biden told Russia he wouldn't send troops to help the Ukraine.

Ok Im cool with that they are not a nato nation. 

But he said he would help Taiwan if China invaded and the his staffers said no we will not.

Which is it ? 

Taiwan isnt a nato nation so what's the difference between the 2. ?

Is joe scared of putin and not scared of china ?

Or did he just get confused and mixed up again ?

I would wager he's just confused again. His handlers must be sweating bullets in those rare times Biden speaks without the benefit of a teleprompter. And even with a teleprompter right in front of him, he has difficulty getting it right.

Ukraine is quite a different scenario. They share a 2,000km-long border with Russia and there are no valuable allies right next to them. Plus Ukraine was taunting Russia with threats of joining NATO. Sending troops there wasn't feasible.

Taiwan is close to Japan and SoKo, and those two are extremely important allies for the US. America can't have the countries surrounding China being picked off one-by-one. If China gained control of the industrial might of Japan and SoKo it would be all over.

I do think that protecting Taiwan would be extremely important for the US, but Biden isn't the guy to do it. Any of America's enemies who miss this chance to make a move are missing out.
