Rupert S. Lander Posted April 7, 2020 Report Posted April 7, 2020 I applied for the CERB today as I am eligible for it. Didn't seem run into problems online but later found out via the news I was supposed to wait until Thursday because my birthday is in November. The system basically said all was good and I shouldn't try calling. Do I need to worry about this? Quote
Tdot Posted April 7, 2020 Report Posted April 7, 2020 (edited) I don't blame you, you should be worried if you didn't get any status notifications re: if you correctly completed the process or not. Perhaps you can login to your CERB account https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/e-services-individuals/account-individuals.html then ask some questions, through that portal. They'll be compelled to respond then. good luck Edited April 7, 2020 by Tdot Quote
Rupert S. Lander Posted April 7, 2020 Author Report Posted April 7, 2020 This is what I got when I was done (took like ten seconds, thank goodness I have an online account), like I say this was before I read I was supposed to wait. It didn't say anything about me supposed to be waiting. Quote
Moonlight Graham Posted April 7, 2020 Report Posted April 7, 2020 (edited) i assume you should be fine. They probably want people to apply based on birthday so the online system isn't over-flooded and doesn't crash. Millions of people are out of work. If you don't get your payment by Monday then just apply again on Monday. I don't think anyone here can answer your questions with any certainty. I hope he knows yer mooning him..they don't call you moonlight for the hell of it...geez if he spends it on a sex trade worker he would have to wear a mask and gloves...better off spending it on Jack Daniel's, lemon juice, crushed ice, a Corona ( the beer man not the virus) to the side and listen to some Janis Joplin. Hal 9000 Posted April 9, 2020 Report Posted April 9, 2020 Does anyone know the actual revenue generated by kids? By my research, it's now up to $800 per child. That can't be true, can it?
