We have laws requiring people to own fire alarms, and they cost alot more to produce... so why not get everyone masks, to have on hand... when the next outbreak comes?

It will be far cheaper than quarantining millions of people, if we get a serious outbreak someday. If everyone work protective gear, and cooked their food during a pandemic... we could stop them, before they get out of hand.

Masks arn't 100% protection, but used properly they could be 90% protection.... If they slow down the spread of a pandemic... then masks are better than nothing, and should be required in some situations.

What about places with laws that outlaw people from covering their faces?  Like vaccination there'll always be someone who refuses to get with the program in a way that directly undermines it.

I recommended a law, requiring everyone to given a mask... in case there is an outbreak, but not to wear them. I don't think it's a bad idea... for the world to mass produce them, so there is no shortage, the next time around.

I also won't support mandatory inoculation, not until they remove mercury, aluminum, and formaldehyde from vaccines.

When they can prove... their vaccines don't have any toxic chemicals, then I can support mandatory vaccinations. But right now... i'll defend the anti vaxxers, because the government refuses to get the toxic chemicals out of vacinnes.

What is with your stupid comment? If someone caughs... and the mask stops the particles entering the mouth or nose... the person won't get sick... it some cases, the virus might enter the eyes, or the ears... but it will most likely go through the mouth or nose...

Masks will reduce the number of infections, unless the person is like 6 inches away from someone caughing hard... and it infects their eyes...

Obviously they're better than nothing.

I'm not.  You seem to think that a virus is large enough to be stopped by a simple surgical mask.  It isn't.  And even with the proper mask, they have to be fitted properly to ensure viruses won't get in around the edges.

A losely fitness mask will reduce the infection rates. If wearing a mask reduce the virus by 10%, then I think they're worth it... It slows the expodential spread of pandemics.

For the next pandemic... we could produce better masks, or inexpensive hazmat suits... than the general public can wear during an outbreak... I'm sure a basic Hazmat suit could be sold for $20.... 

At the very least... all hospitals should have a hazmat suit for every employee.

We don't know how many Canadians could be incubating the virus... My guess is that there is at least 100 people in the GTA that have it, but don't know about it.

The united nations could afford to give a mask to every person on the planet... to have ready for the next pandemic... if they cost 50 cents each... it would cost 4 billion to give to every person on the planet.

This Coronavirus probably will cost the worlds economy at least 50 billion.... but it might be over a trillion in damages.

If I had to guess... I think a losely fitted mask would provide at leadt 50% reduction in the chances of getting infected.... I wouldn't be surprized if a properly worn mask is 90% effective... and it's probably close to 100% effective with a mask and googles.

Virus don't travel in clouds, and they don't travel far from sick people... if you take a walk in the woods, you're not going to get sick... even if a million people are dying 1 kilometer from you... you have to be in a closed space... or in close proxmimity to someone to get sick.

Parasites on the other hand... can spread to remove regions of the planet. Virus are verry infectious, but aren't very durable.

I'm over 60 with a heart condition that can ill afford the degradation to herd immunity that anti-vaxxing causes. Anti-vaxxing is a growing epidemic of ignorance that has now become endemic.  If there was ever a disease incubating demographic worthy of public censure and quarantine it's anti-vaxxers. I'd like to know why Trudeau isn't rounding them up and flying them off to Baffin Island myself. If there is anyone that should have a law that requires them to wear a mask and preferably one that identifies them so normal people can avoid them it's anti-vaxxers.  No need to take it personally because it's not racially motivated...its species motivated.

Then tell Trudeau to ban the sale of all Vaccines that contain mercury and fermadahyde... There is no reason for them to be in vaccines... Until your side speaks out against the toxic chemicals in vaxxines... i'll support peoples right to refuse... that crap being injected in their bodies.

Also some of the lattest research is showing that vaccines are degrading the overall immune system... While the might protect against a certain virus strand... they compromise the entire immune system.

I havn't had a vaccine in over 20 years, and I hardly get sick. I havnt had my tetanus shot. My sister has had many vaccines, and gets sick all the time.

If you do get sick.... your worst threat is getting Pneumonia...

I know a great grandparent who got spanish flu as a child... Her mother put her into a partially open oven as a baby... to dry out her lungs.. They must of put her in at 40 degree celcius or something. It saved her life.

My people in hostials dye from pneumonia, because the nurses are too lazy... to get the elderly out of bed, and ask them to walk around a bit... or sit up for a while.

If you get the beggining states of pneumonia... you need to get out of bed, and start jogging... if you stay still in bed, the fluid will build up and kill you... If you start jogging the fluid patches will breakup.

I would suck on a hair dryer to dry out your lungs. Of corse.. this is just my opinion... I'm not legally alloud to make medical claims.

Mercury has a half life in the body, I think.  It's not like lead.  It's also not cheap.  I don't think they are putting it in your vaccine just to piss you off.

And I'm just guessing now, with no evidence whatsoever to back me up, but I would think that if you have dental fillings, eat a lot of fish, or live downwind of a coal burning power plant, you probably are exposed to more mercury than is in MMR or a tetanus vaccine.

Here's is the live Coronavirus Results. This thing might be unstoppable. If it doesn't level off in 2 weeks, I think it will be too late.We don't have time for political correctness, and being told that it's rude to move away from Chinese people who are caughing. Does anyone Trust Justin Trudeau to protect us... if thing's get out of hand. I certainly don't.
