The effort also involves sanitizing how these Nazis present themselves to the public - political correctness I think they call it when other people do it - to become more mainstream and to normalize their views.  I would argue they'll have an easier time normalizing a hideous strain of politics and governance simply by virtue, if such a word applies in this case, of the way authoritarian leaders and dictatorships have been cultivated, accommodated, feted and openly afforded a frightening level of respectability these last few years.

If raising and associating the radicalization of Canada's extreme right-wing with normal conservatives does result in some sort of voter backlash that leans in favour of Canada's conservative parties I suspect it will be Bernier's party that benefits. A Sheer minority government with Bernier being in a position to hold the balance of power could be a real possibility. It'll be interesting to see how far Sheer and the Conservative Party swerve to distance themselves from the right-wing's darker extremities - perhaps Sheer would have to swerve so far as to require a partner that's more palatable than Bernier to Canadians.

This could also open real possibilities for Elizabeth May because picking Trudeau could be even worse than Kryptonite to Sheer.

I have to wonder if the paranoid lefty liberals and socialists in Canada go about checking under their beds every night just before they go to sleep to see if there is a white supremacist lying under it? It sure looks like it to me. Is this what the election will be all about is to find out if Bernier is a supporter of white supremacy?  Real issues will be avoided by the lefty liberals and they will probably only focus on Bernier to try and find something to nail him on in regards to white supremacy. While Trudeau is fanning the flames to try and burn down Canada, Bernier is trying to put those flames out. Another election win for that moron Trudeau will be a vote for the destruction of Canada for good. Canada cannot take another four years of this feminist fool any longer. I could see a mad exodus of Canadians heading towards the American border who will be willing to bring their skills and knowledge to help make America even greater again. Canada will surely become a shit hole country for sure if that Trudeau fool wins the next election. I do hope that the Peoples Party of Canada does well in the next election. A majority would be great. Just saying.
