Shakeyhands Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 After reading this and remembering who pulled the strings... I started to wonder about term limit exceptions, Can Cheney run after being President for 2 full terms? Can Hillary? http://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/02/06/...reut/index.html Quote "They muddy the water, to make it seem deep." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Bob 101 Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 For one, Cheney was Vice President and has the ability to now run for President, and the same with Hillary, she didn't serve two terms as President therefore can now run for President in 2008. Quote
willy Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Barack Obama will be the next president. Hilary will be VP. This is my early prediction. His election website. Quote
caesar Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 My understanding is that even Bill Clinton can now run again for president. The limitation is 2 terms in a row. Maybe Hillary will run with Bill as her VP. Quote
Bob 101 Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Bill can't run for President but can be Hillary's Vice in 2008 Quote
Shakeyhands Posted March 2, 2005 Author Report Posted March 2, 2005 as interesting as these replys are, I was joking. Let me explain. Cheney is for all intents and purposes the President. 'W' is much too dim witted to be pulling this Presidency off. And Lord knows (and Married Guys) that the wives run the show. Quote "They muddy the water, to make it seem deep." - Friedrich Nietzsche
kimmy Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Barack Obama will be the next president. Hilary will be VP.This is my early prediction. His election website. Obama seems like a very impressive young man and might be the Democrats' best choice if they decide to go with something fresh instead of trying to be Republican Lite. He's becoming known as a tremendous orator. He won election by a monumental landslide in November, although with the disclaimer that he was running against notorious nutbar Alan Keyes (and before that, disgraced sex-pervert Jack Ryan.) There's still the nagging question in the back of my mind, though... could a man named "Obama" become president in the US? I'm not even 100% sure that a black man could be elected president, let alone one with a foreign-sounding name. -kimmy Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

Political parties are usually in serious trouble when they believe a bright light will show up and save them. I suspect the Dems need more than a player. Quote
kimmy Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Is there any arguing that the Democrats are in serious trouble? -kimmy Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
