This could be the nadir where it comes to JT's idiocy.

Justin Trudeau reminded senators Friday that they're unelected and have no business rewriting a federal budget passed by the elected House of Commons.

The prime minister said he respects the role senators play in providing sober second thought to legislation.

Indeed, having instigated a new appointment process aimed at making the Senate more independent and less partisan, Trudeau said he actually encourages senators to scrutinize legislation and recommend improvements..

Gee JT, maybe if you appointed Liberals Senators, you wouldn't have this problem. But you thought appointing "independent" Senators was the way to go.

Now you act all cranky when independant Senators act independently.

Dude is a moron

Even more embarrassing when they were appointed because they supported your campaign promises and then get pissy because you're violating them.

I thought these giant, omnibus bills were an affront to democracy? Apparently only when the Tories use them.

I wouldn't go so far as to call him a moron, but I thought it was very commendable when he decided to appoint only independents.  The expected result of appointing independents though, should obviously be that they act independently.  I'm not sure what else he expected.

JT will soon want us all to carry a small book full of his axioms and sayings....at all times.

Point of order: 'book' is a  bit of hyperbole.  Pamphlet?  Flash card?  Post-it note?  Grain of rice?

Science too hard for you? Try religion!
