Wilber Posted July 12, 2016 Report Posted July 12, 2016 We can reverse it at any time. This is a strategic move. Why reverse it? Get it right the first time. It's not strategic at all, the farther you get into something the harder it is to get out without doing even more damage. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC

Wilber Posted July 12, 2016 Report Posted July 12, 2016 We want the trade deal. So do they you say. So the EU parliament passes some other law that erodes our sovereignty, we just go along with that as well to keep the deal. How much power over our sovereignty to you want to give them. We are not members of the EU, we don't have to abide by their internal laws. Their legislation is EU's problem and we don't want it to be ours. Smallc Posted July 12, 2016 Report Posted July 12, 2016 If we agree to it, it becomes our problem. We make concessions to get what we want all the time. I don't see how this is different. Quote
Argus Posted July 12, 2016 Author Report Posted July 12, 2016 The corporations that drove them out can be responsible for resettlement. . Either these nations are independent and sovereign or they aren't. If you respect them as independent then they have the right to establish rules and regulations without regard to what some leftist woman in Canada thinks of them. It's their job to decide how mining companies and corporations operate and what rules they follow and their job to enforce those rules. You can be sure the Americans will ignore such pressure. Argus Posted August 21, 2016 Author Report Posted August 21, 2016 I would be more worried about the Central-American countries. We require visas from them.
