I have no idea. I barely follow (inside beltway) American politics let alone Democratic/Clinton-style/high-scchool politics.

Other than Sanders/Warren, I picked names from random web-sites.

Out of the box, I predict she'll choose Sanders - assuming that he'll accept. And I think that he would.

=====

If Sanders openly explained why he accepted her nomination, and ran beside Rodham-Clinton, I doubt any Republican team could defeat them in November. But what do I know.

"We are talking about running this campaign to win to become president of the United States," Sanders said, dismissively. "I‘m not talking about vice president."

Asked less than a half hour later at the same forum, whether she would consider Sanders, Clinton chuckled.

"Let’s not get ahead of ourselves," Clinton said. "I don’t want to think any further ahead than tomorrow and the Michigan primary. I can’t do that."

Let me throw a wild card out there: Michael Bloomberg.

He is notionally a Republican, I know, but he would be an extremely moderate one, more of a centrist and conciliator. He supports gun control and abortion rights and a lot of other progressive causes. And his statement below, putting an end to rumors he will consider a run as a third party candidate, makes it clear he thinks both Trump and Cruz are dangerous. Including him on the ticket would short-circuit a lot of the talk about Clinton being too far to the left and counter Trump's "I'm a successful businessman" bombast. It would also be applauded by Americans tired of the partisanship in Washington. The only problem, of course, is he's identified with New York, which was Clinton's old home state when she was a senator. On the other hand she grew up in Illinois and moved to Arkansas, where she spent about 20 years. Does that give her a claim to being a southerner?

I'm not sure Sanders would want to be her VP, and maybe she wouldn't want him either. He's too honest and principled, he doesn't play the game and certainly won't do so the way she would want him too.

Sanders will not be her VP choice. She needs to move more to the center once this is done, and Sanders will continue to pull her to the Left. She'll also be looking for someone from elsewhere than the northeast. Someone from Texas, Florida or California would be better.

Once upon a time, around 1960, when a smart Catholic ran for US President, there began this "geographic" ticket idea: Massachuetts/Texas.

JFK understood "geography" (at the time) better than his opponent.

Argus, geography is even more complex in this 21st century: now, we call it identity.
