Researchers have been looking into how water and gas can run any engine and not put out any toxins in the air. This group has said after working on it for 5-10 years they have finally development an engine and they also developed a spark plug to work with this new engine. The man was on coastotcoast.com last night and he said they are waiting for a patent from the US government and he knows there certain parties out there that will try to stop his invention making it to market and on to car manufactures. I think IF this is true, which he says it is, which ever car manufacture buys the patent could become even richer. He said it doesn't take that much water, very little.

CO2 dissociation requires more energy from electricity to produce the gas than can be generated by subsequently burning the gas because the process is not 100% efficient. The concept makes no sense as an on board car engine technology and is only of interest as a way to create regular biodiesel that can be burned like it is today (see blue diesel: http://www.sciencealert.com/audi-have-successfully-made-diesel-fuel-from-air-and-water).

That said, the link you provide only talks about converting the CO2 to syngas before exhaust which could only increase fuel consumption. It would also increase emissions of carbon monoxide which is worse than CO2.

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but listening to him and the questions the viewers were asking the guy knew his stuff but only time will tell if he was telling the truth.

Well, we don't have to wait. We already know the concepts have little technical merit and question of whether he is delusional and telling the truth or con-man who is lying is not that important. Edited by TimG
