A few months ago, Dimitri Soudas crossed the floor following his soulmate Eve Adams. Dimitri was as close to the Harper PMO as you can get. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/eve-adams-quits-conservatives-to-join-liberals/article22856743/ There was speculation at the time if Soudas was prepared to share the Harper skeletons with the Liberal party since he had now joined the Liberal party and was busy getting Eve a candidacy. Nothing of note appeared to be released originating from Soudas but Eve did not get her candidacy. The question is: Did Soudas reveal secret Tory misadventures with the Liberals and are the Liberals waiting for the right time to use this information. In the past, last minute revelations were the turning points in elections. Are the Liberals waiting for the last week to drop a couple of bombs? Soudas would have been in charge of vetting potential Conservative candidates and have the scoop on all current elected members of the Conservatives. Already little bits of information are coming out about Tory and NDP candidates that have caused them to withdraw fro the race. Anyone withdrawing their name at this time cannot be replaced and the constituency is basically given to the other parties. Is Soudas behind this? I would not be surprised that if the Liberals do have a couple of bombs to toss they will wait until there is no time for spinning before the election date before dropping these "revelations". Politics, almost as interesting as the baseball playoffs! Trudeau has said he wants to focus on policies and platforms, not attack ads. I think so far he's done pretty well, and would be disappointed in him if he did pull something like this. Although, I might be happy with a win, but would definitely tarnish him for me. Although, if he does win I'm sure he'll be pretty tarnished at the end of four years regardless. Quote

Ordinarily, I would agree with you. However, Harper's rule has been so odious, so completely lacking in integrity that I wouldn't care much. I don't think they have anything, though. If they did, I think they would have used it by now.
