Have they been surging lately? This is by far the biggest number I have seen anyone give for them.

It's quite a bit higher, but given that they're just under 20% in Quebec according to Nanos and how close they were to the NDP in a number of ridings, I'm going out on a limb by giving them the benefit of the doubt in a number of places in QC.

It looks pretty close to me but I'm think you're being a bit generous with the BQ.

Unlimited economic growth has the marvelous quality of stilling discontent while preserving privilege, a fact that has not gone unnoticed among liberal economists.

You're probably right, but generosity with the BQ is the only place I can find NDP weakness.

There's 338 seats this time. :P

The rest obviously go to Chris Hadfield.

In which riding do you think the Greens will get their 2nd seat? They're not even in second place anywhere.

Victoria.

My bad, they are polling second there.

NDP is polling very strong there (40% to 28%) but I hope you're right. :)

Yeah. If it doesn't go to the Greens it'll go NDP, but I'm hearing there's internal polling on the ground there that has the Green candidate ahead. Take it for what it's worth.

I think a lot of people will be surprised on election day. I could be wrong, but Bruce Hyer's seat can go either way too. So if they don't pick up Victoria, they may pick up Thunder Bay–Superior North and it won't change much with my overall prediction. It's possible they lose both though and only end up with May in Parliament again. That's the safest bet, but I didn't go safe with my predictions.

That's not true - they are neck and neck in Victoria.

I suspect you are absolutely right about an interesting election day come Monday. Especially with the late breaking news stuff regarding Gagnier, and then the onslaught on Harper's nasty attack ads. In the short time left we will only see the effects, if any, on the 19th.

I got my numbers from 308 after reading CC's post but OGFT's post shed light on things since my earlier post.

Good for the Greens, that's awesome.

If Elizabeth May was in my riding, I'd likely vote for her. But ssshhh, don't tell my drinking buddy who once sat as premier here.

You're drinking buddies with Bill Vander Zalm? That's awesome!

I'll tell you whose parsed posts I like if you tell me who your drinking buddy is. ;)
