So you're fine with hiding illegal activity by the government and the national police force simply by retroactively changing laws. Gotcha. Oh well, more fodder for the attack ad industry.

It's not hiding anything. The registry document was going to be deleted, by order of parliament, by a party which had destroying it as part of their election campaign and won, based on that election campaign. The AI request was from a far left wing gun control wacko and only a bureaucrat would give a damn about it going unsatisfied.

And I'd be fine with your indignation if you were calling for the Ontario Liberals involved in stealing two billion dollars of taxpayer money to enhance their election campaign to be imprisoned.

It doesn't really matter who had the FOI standing request, either you abide by the law, or you break it. Then trying to change the law retroactively in a 400 plus page so called BUDGET BILL is just a bit over the top.

Laws have never been changed retroactively? It's not something which I give a damn about.

Hopefully the OPP do give a damn about it.

The OPP is not having a good track record of investigating government cover ups the last couple years

Of course you hope they do. Because you want conservatives punished for anything they do, even breathing. As for the Liberals stealing billions, 'tut tut, boys will be boys' is the attitude, right? And the NDP stealing millions for their own private purpose? "aww leave them alone. they meant well".

Don't try and pretend your vindictiveness arises from any sense of or interest in justice or law and order. You simply hate conservatives and want them punished somehow for being conservative.

The left is laughing at the conservatives for the senate scandal and Del Mastro going to jail for spending his OWN money for election fraud as he should.

Dalton spends over a billion buying seats and Wynne has her staff try and bribe somebody with a new job and it is "Oh well at least they are not Harper" than jump back on their pedestals crying foul.

That's it in a nutshell: Conservatives spend their own money = scandal. Lefties steal tax dollars, who cares.

No, they can breathe all they want. After that though they ought to abide by the law, not change it to hide previous transgressions.

But that rule is for the conservatives only right. The Ontario Liberals can keep on breaking the law with the hope they one day learn not to get caught.

Can you imagine what will be found hiding in the offices that somehow do not get purged when the Liberals leave office?

Hope they have a fire extinguisher handy in case those barrals of burning paper get out of control

Nope, the rule of law is for all.

Please forward that to the OPP. Cause they are taking their sweet time with three investigations so far. Wait is their contract up this year?

I'm sure it gets interesting when police are investigating illegal activity by police.

You mean like this?

It is a miracle there was money left for the commercials during the election.

Or we could continue believing in the myth of conservatives being good fiscal managers.

Enjoy your delusion while it lasts. The last time I checked; investing in road works or other infrastructure did not provide a return on investment other than the physical improvement of said infrastructure.

This will suck the life blood out of the economy by removing potential employment income to pay the employer's share of the ORPP and by removing disposable income from the employee's share of the ORPP. I'll stick with the TFSA that does give return on investment, thank you.

Thankful to have become a free thinker.

You're sounding decidedly UNsocialist these days. And you said in the chat room that you're a Libertarian now ? Who on here said that people don't change their minds.

By the way, why bother with a TFSA when you have a Teacher's Pension Plan ?

TFSA much better for me than RRSP.

You didn't really think he was a teacher, did you?

I got spanked for questioning his claim.

Can you imagine a person like that around kids?

You have to be careful not to think that ones on-line persona is necessarily the same as one's real life personality.

I have no doubt. I have often thought he was several different people. Spelling and grammar changes.
