Is Ontario cabinet minister working for China?

There is a tradition of thought the last generation or so, that newcomers are Canadians through and through, and that, since they've come here, they've abandoned their previous homelands, transferring all their loyalty to Canada. The problem is that clearly is not always the case. Many immigrants retain old hatreds and old feuds from the homeland, maintain old politics, and are still very sympathetic and loyal to the land they were born in.

So what happens when they get involved in politics and get elected to parliament or to a provincial legislature? Just whose interests are they advancing? CSIS investigated Ontario Liberal cabinet minister Tony Chan, and is still keeping a suspicious eye on him. He and others in the Chinese community here in Canada seem to be showing an alarming degree of sympathy and loyalty to their previous homeland, which is made more complicated by the fact their previous homeland is a ruthless dictatorship.

But in the interview with The Globe, he recalled being told of two specific concerns raised by CSIS: The federal agency alleged that he owned property in China and that he asked Ms. Zhu directly for a visa, suggesting the minister could bypass the formal application process. Were such a request granted, it could also have the appearance of a favour in need of reciprocation.

What specifically is he accused of that would prove this. To me this is no more credible than those nuts saying harper is a closet jew and is working for jews and israel controls the world and jews start all the wars. Proof Please.
