Truth and Reconciliation... Legitimacy

Recommended Posts

Canada has three founding peoples and three legal traditions:

French Civil Code

British Common Law

Aboriginal Law.

Aboriginal laws were never "supplanted".

That's a blatant lie.

You are really stooping to devious and deceitful methods.

You must be getting paid to troll here.

Either that, or you are unglued.

.

You can believe what you want. It doesn't make it reality. Canadian law, based on British Common Law, is the law of the land and is the law under which any other legal traditions are granted.

Anything reliant on memory is not proper data.

Anything, eh?

Court testimony, right out the window then. People's first hand experiences mean jack sh**, even when they're backed up by reams of historical documents. Are you even listening to yourself? What a pathetic racist agenda you have.

Anything backed up by evidence is different, as should be obvious.

You don't even know who the head of state is so you'll excuse me if I find what you say to be less than credible with regards to Canadian law.

I know who the head of state, and I know the powers conveyed to our GG, but I guess you didn't read/understand the letters patent, so I won't crowd you with too much. But suffice it to say, if you study our law on genocide you will end up right back at the Rome Statutes which have been quoted various times in this and other threads.

So you think the people who apply it don't...but you do.

C'mon, get serious. It's highly unlikely there will be any charges forthcoming against CBC or the CPC, based on what's being discussed. The point is, bill C 51 is so poorly/broadly written, they sure as hell could be. And so of course soon there will be a charge, it will end up in the SCC, and will be skewered like so many other Harper bills. More waste of time and money.
