I believe that I can summarize our differences in opinion;

You believe in national security and the ability of the our government to objectively use national security as the reason to not disclose certain information.

True.

I believe in national security but do not trust individuals in our government to use that objectively.

You haven't said whether I "trust" the government as well. I don't.

I believe that the individuals in our government withhold a whole lot of information from the public that has nothing to do with national security and a whole lot to do with covering incompetence, mistakes and allowing for political spin.

I think I understand and do respect your position and your right to hold it.

And the release of video of the attack is unnecessary in my opinion because there's no value in it.
