Years ago my grandmother wanted digital versions of her old albums. While collecting digital copies and putting together CDs and playlists, I ended up getting hooked on music by guys like Gershwin and Glenn Miller. I listened to 'How Long Has This Been Going On' sung by Felicia Sanders (I think) many times.

Bubber... Beastie Boys won't tour again, not without Adam Yauch. I could only hope they get someone as good as Adam, or they just hang it all up. But their best album by far ... is Paul's Boutique. Mainly because of the Dust Bros drops and beats, but overall a very awesome album.

I akways worried about crashes or eqmt just sputtering out many years ago when I DJ'd for events....long since retired and last was in mid 80's.

That eqmnt never failed me, and the TOA's sit in the basement collecting dust...as does the rest of the stuff.

Break it out now and then and rip it up. I only mix at home and stream online now and then. It's a hobby more than anything now.

As it turns out I've heard 'Walk Away Renee' but I do not recall hearing the band name 'The Left Banke' before. 'Pretty Ballerina' is alright too.

Many, many, years ago, (I was a teenager), a bf's father took us to see Buddy Rich. Wow, what a performance! It is one of those events that I will never forget! I think that counts as a dream set list.

Buddy Rich is great (especially when he's flying off the handle), but I always preferred Gene Krupa.

Buddy was fantastic! It was a mind blowing concert for a young female teenager. But, wow, I was impressed! I have never heard of Gene Krupa. I will check him out!

I have seen him live, it was very cool, unfortunately I have no video of that. Does anyone of video of him in London Ontario, 70's?
