Argus Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 It was interesting to see Boehner taken to task on FOX about daring to criticize certain of the Koch brothers political fronts. Boehner would normally be given a warm and friendly reception by FOX but the interview was grim and challenging. FOX apparently can't believe anyone would dare to question the wisdom of the Tea Party. They are, after all, funded by the same Billionaires club as a propaganda organ to push for what the Billionaires club wants and they couldn't seem to understand why Bohner, paid largely from the same club, would turn on them. Even Paul Ryan was seen talking (much more judiciously) of his frustration with the Kochinistas. The news, meanwhile, is talking about open warfare between the "Country Club Republicans" and the Koch wing of the party. It seems not all the billionaires who own and operate the Republican party are in complete agreement on tactics and some of their disagreement is being aired in public. You even have the US Chamber of Commerce funding candidates to fight off Koch Party candidates. Will wonder never cease in the land of the free!? They're as relevant as billionaire Georgie Soros, who funds leftist candidates. Why don't you post about him too? Probably because the mainstream media you get your American political information doesn't mention him. Your American politics topics and posts are right out of the usual playbook. Quote

On Guard for Thee Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 No......it is far more exciting than boring politics in Canada. When is the next election ? 2015 ? With Obamacare, the campaign ads just write themselves. We like our politics a bit boring in Canada, at least relative to the US. That way something gets done from time to time rather than having to deal with nonsense like "the fiscal cliff" and "sequestration" Cruz making an idiot of himself reading Dr. Seuss for 23 hours, etc etc. Quote
Argus Posted December 17, 2013 Author Report Posted December 17, 2013 They're as relevant as billionaire Georgie Soros, who funds leftist candidates. Why don't you post about him too? Soros definitely funds left wing causes, but he's a piker compared to the Koch brothers. And I'm still bemused by how they basically bought out the Tea Party, when it was a ragged assed bunch of people decrying tax money going to the wealthy, and turned it into a puppet group demanding more tax money and privileges for the wealthy! The Koch's want to get rid of social security and public schools! They want to defund the FBI and CIA! They're crazy! Why do you continue to post in this section of the forum when you're so completely clueless? I don't get it. Seriously. It appears not all the billionaires who own and work the Republican party are in complete assent to strategies and some of their contradiction is continuously disclosed out in the public. He will top many newsmaker polls, easily besting the "Tea Party". Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
On Guard for Thee Posted December 25, 2013 Report Posted December 25, 2013 I suppose he will. I'm not quite sure who ignored Canada. In any case it seems difficult to accurately quantify stupidity. Quote
