wyly Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 Create a thread for your question and I'll respond. Not only is that going to lead to an out-of-topic discussion....but it's also not the right section for it. Your question belongs in Religion. I'll wait for your thread with bated breath! Don't take too long. debate's are like courtroom procedure , once defense or prosecution introduces evidence it's on the table to be discussed..., you introduced it, so answer it Betsy- God knows what He's doing, and the outcome is as planned. Sleipnir Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 looks at it that God knows what He's doing, and the outcome is as planned. Then what is the point of doing anything if the outcome has already been determined by God? Quote "All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure." - Mark Twain
bleeding heart Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 (edited) And why would you ever criticize someone's behaviour?....unless, I suppose, you argue that your criticism of other's pre-planned behaviour was also pre-planned, in which case you had no choice........ cybercoma Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Then what is the point of doing anything if the outcome has already been determined by God? And why would you pray for a particular outcome or to change things when presumably God doesn't change His mind. Quote
betsy Posted November 19, 2012 Author Report Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) debate's are like courtroom procedure , once defense or prosecution introduces evidence it's on the table to be discussed... , you introduced it, so answer it Courtroom procedure? Irrelevant statements are thrown out! You could get slammed by the judge for CONTEMPT if you insist and keep interrupting the proceedings with your outburst. If you're lucky...you'd be escorted out. Go see Judge Judy. And if you keep bringing up an irrelevant fraud case in a court hearing about a murder case - perhaps psychological evaluation will be warranted by the judge - in addition to getting fined for contempt - and getting booted out! Unbelievable. Make a separate thread of those arguments you've got Wyly, Sleipnir, Bleeding Heart and Cybercoma - it's an interesting premise and I'm itching to reply....however, they're out of topic. Furthermore, that line of discussion doesn't belong in Health/Technology. It belongs in Religion. Going back on topic: Do you think there are any other wonder drug out there that help these politicians ward off cold/flu? I guess they keep using the disinfectant lotion as they go handshaking, huh? As for sleeping - it must be tough getting a good rest when youi're all wired and pumped up! Running on pure adrenaline must also have some merit by perhaps bolstering the immune system. I guess they keep using the disinfectant lotion as they go handshaking, huh? You don't see many politicians (T.V or in person) touching people that much. As for sleeping - it must be tough getting a good rest when youi're all wired and pumped up! Running on pure adrenaline must also have some merit by perhaps bolstering the immune system. I bet politicians would take naps during the day while traveling from one destination to the next on buses or airplanes. Yeah and sleep during the day too.
