Who cares what your post said?

Lots of people. :)

I wasn't replying to you.

I think we've already established that. But don't let that stop you from repeating it ad nauseam. That seems to be what you excel at. But again. I was replying to you. Or more to the point, about you - and your oft repeated mindless pure partisan responses. :)

You are free to put up a poster.

I am free to put a comment on it.

No one guarantees it won't get torn down.

That's freedom of expression. ...we all have it.

No it isn't. That's vandalism.

I really don't get the reaction to this poster - it's against jihadists, not Muslims, not Islam. Seems to me anyone who is reading it as an insult against Muslims is in effect saying that all Muslims are jihadists.

the posters want people to think simple. like it's all black and white. by equating israel as the good guys and anyone else who goes against their policies, the bad guys. there is a lot wrong with the poster and only hasbara bots such as yourself would defend it.

speaking of censoring free speech:

Billboards criticizing US aid to Israel taken down under pressure

A few week ago we posted about ten billboards going up around Albuquerque, NM calling for congress to cut off aid to Israel. They were put up by The Coalition to Stop $30 Billion to Israel, a multi-ethnic, multi-religious coalition working to “end to the ten year commitment of $30 billion in U.S. taxpayer-funded military aid pledged to Israel in 2007 by the Bush administration.” Today, the coalition sent out a press release saying that although Lamar Outdoor Advertising had signed a contract to run the billboards for eight weeks, they care coming down after three.

at the end, free speech and the good guys won.

Billboard campaign to end US aid to Israel hits LA

Millions of Americans will be exposed to these billboards every day as commuters in the country's second largest metropolitan area are stuck in traffic on some of the most congested roads in the world. Stop30Billion Co-founder Armen Chakerian told me the campaign plans to put up additional signs in different spots in LA each month.

This is the largest advertising campaign launched by Stop30Billion thus far. Last spring its successful campaign in Denver, Colorado, garnered lots of attention from citizens and local media.

Stop 30 Billion is a grassroots campaign with humble beginnings, funded by ordinary citizens. They got off to a rocky start when their first billboards were taken down under pressure by Lamar Outdoor Advertising after only three weeks even though they had signed a contract to run the billboards for eight weeks. The billboard company for Stop30Billion's LA initiative is CBS Outdoor, the outdoor advertising division of media conglomerate CBS Corporation.

You are thinking "simple." That's my point. Whose fault is that?

Like I said, I don't see "jihadist" and think "Muslim" or "Islam" or "Palestine."

like it's all black and white.

Those who are reacting as if the poster is an insult to Muslims and/or Islam ARE thinking in "black and white." They are thinking that "Jihad" = all Muslims.

by equating israel as the good guys and anyone else who goes against their policies, the bad guys.

No. Not "anyone who goes against their policies." JIHADISTS. The poster is anti-JIHAD, which is why I don't understand why people are acting as if "jihad" is synonymous with "Muslim" and/or "Islam."

there is a lot wrong with the poster and only hasbara bots such as yourself would defend it.

Only a terrorist supporter such as yourself would conclude that I'm defending the poster. But then, you're not the brightest bud on the tree, so your reaction doesn't surprise me. ;)

don't be stupid. most people are not stupid and they see right through the message and people like you. people know that jihadists is a synonym for muslims.

the poster is pro-israeli and anti-islam. pam geller is behind these ads. the same person who started the Stop Islamization of America and Park51 movement. the same person who defended radovan karadzic who was convicted of ethnic cleansing bosnian muslims. she put this piece of propaganda up to further demonize muslims and apologize for israel's human rights violations. something you, as a hasbara bot do often.

israel is not the good guy in this situation. the current israeli government wants to start an unnecessary war and drag u.s. into it. you know what savagery is? it's israel's actions towards the palestinians. supporting the poster is supporting israel's call for war and the push to further demonize muslims. i understand why you support it.

While one may criticize or disagree with the ads, they are neither racist nor Islamophobic.

sure thing buddy. and pam geller, the person behind these ads and who happens to have started Stop Islamization of America movement oh and defended a man who was found guilty of ethnic cleansing bosnian muslims is neither racist nor islamphobic.

I don't know anything about the individual in question and don't know whether he/she is racist or Islamophobic. He/she may or may not be (I certainly won't take your word for it, however). But taken in isolation, which is how I take them, the ads are not in any way racist.

quit playing dumb. you really notch down your credibility."he/she" - haha. you know pam geller.

He/she may or may not be (I certainly won't take your word for it, however).

then look into it you lazy ass. take the fact's words for it. she has started a movement called Stop Islamization of America

But taken in isolation, which is how I take them, the ads are not in any way racist.

it can't be taken in isolation. she and her background should be taken into considering as she's directly behind these ads and it represents her views.

No. I don't. Unlike yourself, I don't spend my life obsessing over one issue. Though I'll probably google the name shortly since it's come up.

Perhaps I will at some point.

Why? We are talking about a set of ads, not about a person.

if a nazi group puts an ad up saying something like 'american whites should stand for america and against the extreme jews', we shouldn't discuss the motive and the background of the group? get real.

here is what a rabbi thinks:

Among those who have spoken out against them is Rabbi Rachel Kahn-Troster, of Rabbis for Human Rights — North America, who wrote for CNN online: "As a rabbi, I find the ads deeply misguided and disturbing … The coded message makes clear who the savages are: those who support jihad, which in Geller's mind includes all Muslims. She has called Islam 'an extreme ideology, the most radical and extreme ideology on the face of the Earth'.

"As a Jew, I know the extreme to which baseless hatred can lead. And the Jewish community has been in the past a target of hatred in the United States. Geller's message ignores the positive contributions that our Muslim friends, neighbours and colleagues make to our country every single day.

"It is also unfortunate that Geller chooses to frame her message of hatred as one of support for Israel."

Well, Ms. Geller is a rather grotesque individual.

By the same token, by the same criteria, Jihadists are rather grotesque individuals.

The NY chapter of the Anti-Defamation League has also spoken out agaisnt Geller and her ads.
