cybercoma Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) betsy, do you believe men and women should be treated equally? Edited September 3, 2012 by cybercoma Quote
betsy Posted September 4, 2012 Author Report Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) So the question was too difficult for you to answer? Ok. No longer interested in the thread then. I like to know what it is, exactly, that I'm responding to. No. But your failure to understand is quite mind-boggling. If you can't understand the OP, surely you can understand the title of the topic, and be able to connect the dots? No? Well, I can't help you....sorry. Go talk to someone else. Now I see what BD was whining about you. No wonder you two were bickering. Bye-bye again, AW. Edited September 4, 2012 by betsy Quote
betsy Posted September 4, 2012 Author Report Posted September 4, 2012 betsy, do you believe men and women should be treated equally? What? You saying men are sub-humans now, too? You don't think unborn children should be treated equally as born ones - although they're all humans - so why should I even bother with that kind of question? Quote
cybercoma Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 What? You saying men are sub-humans now, too? You don't think unborn children should be treated equally as born ones - although they're all humans - so why should I even bother with that kind of question? What on earth are you talking about? It's a simple yes or no question: Do you believe that men and women should be treated equally? Quote
Canuckistani Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 It's a simple yes or no question: Do you believe that men and women should be treated equally? Do you? If you say yes, I'll remember that next time you come out with your equal doesn't mean the same stuff, as I know you are bound to do at some point. You know, should hiring quotas be set for women? Are women only groups and events OK? Should women receive the same sentences for the same crime? Should women have to meet the same qualifications for jobs such as firefighter or cop? Etc. Quote
Jiblethead Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 ever heard of misandry? Its the thought that men in todays society have fallen behind women, because women have gone after equal rights for so long, they have suddenly pulled ahead. http://www.singularity2050.com/2010/01/the-misandry-bubble.html this article is quite a long read, but you only need to read a bit of it to get the jist of it. OH, and the whole 'man cant get raped because he needs an erection' argument can easily be bypassed by a woman rapist by a little thing called viagra Quote
jacee Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 Yes women can rape and abuse men. However, "alimony in the form of child support" is not abuse as the whiner at the link claims. Child support is child support, and skipping out on it by being an unemployed (or under-the-table-employed) loser is still a major cause of child poverty. If masculinists would stick to real cases of abuse and not whine about supporting their children, the issues would be better understood. There are women who abuse men. That's a fact. Unfortunately, there are men who think paying support for their kids is 'abuse' ... And that's a crock. Quote
