Guest Peeves Posted July 13, 2012 Report Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) in some Islam countries she'd be dead by mow. Like the 'adulterer' (The female adulterer of course. What's interesting is her connection to Hamas. It will be interesting to see how it plays out and what the sentance is. Oh and of course the bleeding hearts in CUPE -Sid Ryan etc. that will likely defend her after all, she was helping 'palestinians' to freedom. All I can say is good. It sends a message to Iran too. http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/07/13/quebec-woman-who-fought-against-muslim-stereotypes-charged-with-terrorism-in-alleged-hezbollah-weapons-smuggling-plot/ Edited July 13, 2012 by Peeves Quote

Michael Hardner Posted July 13, 2012 Report Posted July 13, 2012 I'm not sure why you felt a need to throw blame at Sid Ryan for this one, but posts like this are about being emotional and figuratively punching your pillow, so there there let it all out. IN other news, someone was charged with a crime and the system continues to work. 12 years since 9/11 coming up, and we're all moving on - there's no world wide conspiracy of Muslims, or New World Order types who want to read our emails. na85 Posted July 13, 2012 Report Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) I won't speak to the Muslim conspiracy, but rest assured there are indeed people within the Government and that of the United States that very much do want to read your emails. Edited July 13, 2012 by na85 Quote

I seldom need a reason to show my disdain for Sid, if I'm for anything he's against it. So I take my shots whenever I can. So far however there's no evidence that he has an opinion...yet. BTW it was not Hamas she supported but Hezbollah -...you know that Iranian, Syrian supported illegal military faction in Lebanon ordered several years ago (UN),that they must disband. Still, the Lebanese in Quebec have flown th Hezbollah flag on occasions. My concern is that it seems very well known according to th media, that there are fund raising and criminal activities conductedin Canada expressly for Hezbollah arms. Hezbollah probably has more military power now in and out of Lebanon than does the Canadian military..( I speculate.) Edited July 14, 2012 by Peeves Quote

bleeding heart Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 And yet, who has more freedom? Those with the power to read whatever correspondence they wish, of course. Michael Hardner Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 So I take my shots whenever I can. Why can you in this case ? He has nothing to do with it "yet". Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
Guest Peeves Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Why can you in this case ? He has nothing to do with it "yet". Like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, Sid tends to create photo ops. I get tired of his popping up for every cause that will get him publicity. That's my only defense. On the other hand one must be careful of getting on the wrong side with Ryan.... He's still a citizen of Canada and entitled to speak his mind. Lawyer James MortonRyan v. Clarke: A Timeline - 2006: Alan Clarke distributes flyers at the GM plant in Oshawa, criticizing CAW Local 222 for its endorsement of federal NDP candidate Sid Ryan, a move he says is in breach of union rules. The flyer includes a picture of Mr. Ryan with an official from Sinn Fein, the political arm of the Irish Republican Army, and suggests Mr. Ryan fraternized with terrorists. Mr. Ryan sues Mr. Clarke for $1 million, claiming he's been defamed. - 2008: Mr. Clarke is cleared of charges laid under the Canada Elections Act by an Oshawa judge, who finds the pamphleteering was not an attempt to influence the outcome of the election, which Mr. Ryan lost. - 2010: A settlement in the defamation suit appears to be reached when a Superior Court judge signs off on it. But Mr. Clarke immediately rejects the settlement, saying he didn't agree to terms that include issuing a retraction and making a public apology to Mr. Ryan. - 2011: Lawyers for Mr. Ryan file a motion of contempt of court, citing Mr. Clarke's refusal to acknowledge the settlement. - June 26, 2012: A Superior Court judge finds Mr. Clarke in contempt of court and fines him $10,000. cybercoma Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 On the other hand one must be careful of getting on the wrong side with Ryan.... Why must one be careful about getting on the wrong side with Ryan? Because someone defamed him, refused to acknowledge it, and was subsequently fined by the court for contempt? Did you even read the timeline you posted? Quote
