At approximately 7:30pm on January 19th, an activist approached a military checkpoint en route to his apartment, where two soldiers on duty, recognizing him as an activist and international observer in Al-Khalil, demanded to search his person and bag. Upon finding two bags of bulk tea, which they insisted were drugs, and a fork-knife-spoon camping utensil, they called the police to make an arrest. However, upon arrival at the scene, the officers confirmed the legality of possessing both tea and eating utensils. Yet upon further discussion with the soldiers, the activist was informed that he would still be detained and brought to the police station in the neighboring illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba for interrogations under the charge that the activist had “insulted a public servant.” The specific alleged act was explained as, incredibly, “farting on a soldier.”

Israel's failure to compromise on the important issues has made it the "hated" country it is.

You live in a world where Hamas and Hezbollah with constitutions dedicated to using terrorism around the world against all Jews and anyone perceived to be pro Israel until Israel is disbanded don't exist.

When Israel sat at a table and agreed to peace and then Arafat ripped up the peace deal he signed ridiculing the US and Israel saying they should have realized he was bagaining in bad faith all along-you of course selectively ignore that just as you do the fact that Hamas and Hezbollah are dedicated to the violent destruction of Israel.

Israel have returned the bodies of 92 Palestinian militants, including several who had carried out bloody terror attacks within the Jewish state as far back as 1975 AP

Now of course the Arabs will celebrate the return of these heroes and martyrs that blew up children and civilians. Sad that these murderers are honored for horrible deeds. No other civilized people would I suspect.

GAZA/RAMALLAH, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Palestinians on Thursday buried the remains of 91 militants that had been held for many years in anonymous Israeli graveyards.

The remains of 79 militants, wrapped with Palestinian flags, were buried in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Thursday with 12 others buried in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, after Israel handed earlier in the day the remains of those Palestinian militants to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA).

In Ramallah, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas placed wreathes on the coffins at the presidential headquarters, as the presidential guards fired 21-gun salute.

Sheikh Mohamed Hussein, Mufti in the Palestinian territories, greeted the remains, and Tayeb Abdel Rahim, secretary-general of the Palestinian presidency, said that the Palestinian leadership would never forget about the martyears.
