The Right One Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 http://www.clickorlando.com/news/City-of-Sanford-prepares-for-response-to-George-Zimmerman-decision/-/1637132/10276020/-/xeilns/-/index.html The special prosecutor has probably already made her decision. I'm betting it's that Zimmerman will walk. Otherwise, why would they have to gear up for a possible **** storm? There aren't enough people on Zimmerman's side to riot if it turns out he's charged. It's going to be very interesting watching this town handle it. Would not be surprised at all to see the National Guard come in. Zimmerman appears overwhelmingly to be innocent. I wonder if all the leeches and vermin who exploited this can give him his life back. Maybe Martin's family will be forced to give Zim some of the $$$$ they make off his copyrighted name. Quote

If he appears to be overwhelmingly innocent, then why the *** storm ? He has his life, but the dead and unarmed teenager lost his. Shady Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 If he appears to be overwhelmingly innocent, then why the *** storm ? He has his life, but the dead and unarmed teenager lost his. The **** storm's due to the irresponsible mainstream media. NBC News has already issued an apology over its purposely distorting of the 911 call. Quote
waldo Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 The **** storm's due to the irresponsible mainstream media. NBC News has already issued an apology over its purposely distorting of the 911 call. how convenient for you to single out a single source to portray an at-large failing of 'mainstream media' since you mention the 911 call, why did Mr. Zimmerman refuse to accept the 911 call police directive, "not to follow Mr. Martin"? Guest American Woman Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 (edited) This appears to be about more than Martin and Zimmerman - it's about the law itself. Coca-Cola Co is dropping its membership in a conservative national advocacy group that supports "Stand Your Ground" laws such as the one being used as a defense in the Florida killing of an unarmed black teenager, Trayvon Martin. Coke withdraws from group that backs Stand Your Ground law I'm betting it's that Zimmerman will walk. Otherwise, why would they have to gear up for a possible **** storm? There have been riots after sports events - even when there's a win; seems as if there are always some who are up for a good ol' riot regardless, so it makes good sense that there would be precautions put in place ahead of time in this case. Argus Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Not to take sides, and asking simply because I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the reports, but did Martin live in this gated community? If he didn't, how did he get into it? I mean, don't these things have fences and uhm, gates? His girlfriend's father lived in it; Martin was walking from a nearby convenience store to his girlfriend's father's house. Quote
Shady Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 but did Martin live in this gated community? It isn't a gated community. That's another example of misinformation from the mainstream media. This being the other... NBC Fires Producer of Misleading Zimmerman TapeNBC News has fired a producer who was involved in the production of a misleading segment about the Trayvon Martin case in Florida. The person was fired on Thursday, according to two people with direct knowledge of the disciplinary action who declined to be identified discussing internal company matters. They also declined to name the fired producer. A spokeswoman for NBC News declined to comment. NYT Quote

The Right One Posted April 7, 2012 Author Report Posted April 7, 2012 what is wrong with gated communities? it keeps undesirables and liberal criminals out! Quote
Guest American Woman Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 what is wrong with gated communities? Here's an OP on that issue: In gated communities, such as where Trayvon Martin died, a dangerous mind-set I see nothing wrong with gated communities in and of themselves, but the mindset that anyone entering is a suspect who can legally be dealt with by the inhabitants of the community - ie: they can take the law into their own hands - is wrong.
