I keep seeing criminals in pictures attired in hoodies. What we should do is ban hoodies!

What purpose do they serve beyond hiding identity or masking features. Let's stop allowing hoodies in stores like Indians in some areas that were robbed by burka wearing men, have outlawed the burka.

I can see parkas in winter but hoodies are unnecessary and scary.

If I saw a couple of guys comming towards me in hoodies I might just cross the street~

The only people in Canada who should be wearing a Veil are brides .. that is if they still wear those anymore

we don't have a desert in Canada so there is no point in wearing a Veil here

I think any garment designed to set people apart from society is, with certain exceptions, a bad idea. For example I wear a skullcap, or yarmulke, in synagogue, not on the street or at work.

Yet, the inhabitants of North American cities don't have a look that's either static or uniform. Even in Tehran and Islamabad, a mix of garbs can be seen; Western styles have become pretty common there, since the British expats brought in more than a century ago what was contemporarily fashionable back in London.

I think I recall a congressman just recently being banned from the floor for wearing a hoodie ......

It's similar to walking down a city street wearing a bandit mask. A large number of people will assume you are likely up to no good!
