Alexa McDonough moves over to Cullen.

Weird not going to one of the top two.

Not that her support means anything really.

Who think Mulcair gives Topp a top spot as a show of unity?

Nathan Cullen should really drop out at this point. Mulcair got the most votes on the first ballot and had the largest growth on the second ballot. He has no chance of winning this thing. Moreover, it's important that the party begin showing unity and stubbornly staying into a race that you're not going to win doesn't do that.

Agreed. Cullen could have ingratiated himself to the winner to perhaps being named deputy leader.

Topp is still not an MP. He'd be great as a top strategist or advisor though.

Duncan is an environmentalist, mainly, as is Mulcair.

I've heard more from Cullen on the environment than I have from Mulcair.

"Heard more"? I didn't hear anything from Cullen about anything before this leadership race. Mulcair has a record we can look at.

Yeah. Heard more. I heard Cullen talk about the environment way more than I heard Mulcair talk about it during the race. I can't say I know much about Mulcair's track record but when I did hear him mention the oil sands for example he didn't come out hard (or at all).

Cullen talks about Oil Sands, Pipelines and Fisherys...Salmon.. which I think all people from BC seem to mention at one time or another.

Mulcair is an environmental hawk...and it will be interesting to see how he deals with the Tarsands....

Muclairs environmental position is actually far stronger then the NDPs current policy....

 More voting problems.

Nope my partner voted online it took her 10 seconds. Although I am sure there are some Robocallers out there hitting the NDP website as hard as they can eh? DNS attacks happen even to the Cons.

Then why are they so delayed. If this goes to a fourth ballot they'll voting while watching hockey. That is if dippers like hockey. B)

Pat Martin says he sees the attack ads already over the voting issues.

I think this proves that voting online for federal elections is not a good idea

And the fact less than 50% of eligible voters actually voting. If it's easy as punked says, there really is no excuse on a Saturday afternoon.

I think the troubling thing for the NDP is that it seems that there are two distinct camps. People who want to work with the Liberals and those that think the NDP can win a government without help from the Liberals.

That's a pretty significant difference of opinion. I'd imagine the Liberals would have similar difference among their ranks.

I thought Rebecca Blaikie was going to start crying when she was being asked about the voting problems.
