Shwa
No those headstones represent a segment of Canada's population that decided to put thier lifes were it counted.... Except in your case, you won't be satisfied unless there are more graves as proof of commitment. And oh, accidents don't count, these have to be bona fide, certified combat deaths. The rest of your argument is sheer, dishonourable bullshit.

I agree with your sentiments to an extent, if anything, the Canadian personal at the Medak Pocket or that lost their lives from a Syrian SAM are in fact not represented enough………….I don’t question the sacrifice of Canadians on UN Peacekeeping missions, but the support the Canadian Forces received from the Government of Canada, starting with PET and ending with PM PM………Having served myself through the 80s and into the “decade of darkness”, in an environment that was both neglected severely and ultimately became a bone of contention in a political campaign, I can, in fairness understand some of Army Guy’s sentiments. Hence, he can question his own commitments, not Canada's, which is all he is doing anyways. The main problem being is saying that Canadians haven't spilt their blood between the Korean War & Afghanistan is a complete lie and dishonours those that have. As I’ve suggested, starting under PM Paul Martin, both these trends have shown signs of reversal. *Zooms off in white jeep with inflated sense of self worth*
