lukin Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Levant does a great job exposing the occupy movement as a bunch of fools. No such thing as real journalism at the state funded CBC. Good job Ezra! A majority of the occupiers that I've personally confronted are a bunch of stoned hippies protesting something they have no clue about. What an embarrassment these people are. Why don't they do something productive such as work in a soup kitchen to really help the downtrodden. http://www.torontosun.com/2011/11/18/ezra-debunks-occupy-toronto Edited November 20, 2011 by lukin Quote

Speaking for myself,I have no interest in anything dopehead pseudoMarxist's have to say...Having siad that, the issues of wage stagnation/wage disparity etc... are definately relevent... There are many layers to the occupy movement that need to be peeled before you realize why they are happening. I don't know what issues they raise, because I don't think most occupiers know what they are protesting. I am by no means wealthy. I make what I earn, I spend within my means, and I don't blame corporations for any of my problems. Jack, why do we never hear protests against the very wealthy Hollywood elite? Because they are all lefties, that's why. These protestors are nothing but entitlement seeking brats who hate corporations, yet refuse to put down their Ipads. hypocrites is what they are. Quote

Over a billion people in India and China suffered under regimes that made it difficult for them to deal with people abroad. I know. I travelled in China and India in the 1980s. Then, the governments of India and China moved to free trade and capitalism. And 30 years later, over a billion people - hundreds of millions of families - have seen their lifestyle change: they no longer live in utter poverty. There is still much poevrty in the world. But the change in India and China over the past few decades is remarkable. Rich white kids (and all the occupiers in Canada are white) may oppose the current economic system, but their opposition is not based on any solidarity. To my knowledge, there are no Occupy movements in poor countries. IMHO, Occupiers are a white bread fad - like Ugg boots. With the next fashion season, it'll be another style. Quote

Mr.Canada Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Ezra Levant is a very brave man who reminds of our beloved leader and father figure Stephen Harper. Mr. Levant chose to brave the crime ridden encampment to bring us the truth. These encampments have been plagued with crime including rape. That's right these occupy people have been raping each other to some extent. Which is terrible imo. A friendly all Canadian girl, fresh faced, from the suburbs takes time off from her schooling to come and support the occupy movement and decides to camp out with them in solidarity. Unbeknownst to her was a predator posing a friend. That night she was brutally raped by one of her fellow occupy protesters. In addition to the various sexual assaults, drug use is rampant. Smoked drugs as well as meth, heroin and crack have been reported used as well. Mr. Levant is a brave man indeed to wade through all this filth and ugliness to bring us the truth. He is a leader of our times, a great man indeed. Stephen and Ezra, a more powerful team could not be found. We have Mr. Harpers fatherly guidance and constant mentoring and Ezra's youthful exuberance and tenacious pursuit of truth. Canada is lucky to have two such great, brave men.
