cybercoma
Is Jack Layton not the hardest working party leader since Trudeau? Harper busted his but rebuilding the Canadian right, so he has to get credit there. Paul Martin slaying the deficit gets a nod. Elizabeth May clawing her way onto the national scene as well. Mulroney scrambling to "fix" the Constitution, also. Who do you think are some notable "hard working" party leaders in Canadian history? Posc Student
I doubt there are many leaders who work harder then any other. There's so much going on behind the scenes to really know how hard they are working anyways.
Topaz
I think Harper should be voted as to the HARDEST PM to AVOID questions of the press and in QP. Second a motion?
August1991
Is Jack Layton not the hardest working party leader since Trudeau?Your definition of working hard would include someone who spends Monday digging a ditch and then Tuesday filling it in.It is one thing to work hard, and it is another thing to work effectively. punked
I just want to point Jack Layton Had Cancer and was still flying across the country showing up at events. The man had Cancer and still went to parliament. He had a hip fracture and had to wait to get it fixed and he still went to work. The man is a robot nothing stops him, anyone who thinks he isn't the hardest working guy in Parliament is dead wrong. You might not like his cause or believe what he says is right but the man is a work horse. You don't grow a party like he has with out working for it. He loves his job and it shows. So, who in your opinion are hard working AND effective party leaders in our history?

Mr.Canada
I would say that in order to be a party leader you'd have to be the hardest working member of your party.
