There is always a subtext when it comes to the written word or the spoken word. There is always a subtext within the character of an individual..I notice May has upgraded her appearace from frumppy acedemic idealist to the cool hippyish yoga chick.I for the life of me can not figure out why she wants to be Prime Minister so desperately. Everyone has a dream..but a dream must have a purpose. What is the purpose in the stiving for power and recognition contained in Ms. E May?

Does she want to save the world? Is there a messianic spirit within this woman? Or is she simply they typical nerd we knew in high school that joined all the right clubs seeking self esteem importance and the privledge to boss others around? I just don't get her and her "viable alternative" - Everybody knows that those that control the banks control the nation and politics is simply theatre...Why did May not take the logical root to real power and attempt to become the CEO of our biggest most influential bank..that of course merged wth all the banks in a quiet manner a few years ago.

May should forget potlitics and deal with real power - MONEY - that buys - food - freedom - shelter - and all earthy pleasures....but she is not that pragmatic...she does not like the idea of real power which is always low profil..she might just be the typical politician who needs desperately to be noticed and to look and feel important...Real men and woman with real power - don't seek the spot light - They simply and diligently go about the dutiful buisness of running a nation....Maybe her and Harper can put together a rock band....have a corporation finance the adventure - and both would be fulfilled. At present NO ONE is remotely interested in politicans....If they were...Harper would not have to endulge himself on the piano in public...Public life would be enough to satisfy he ego..but as of late...

The current state of affairs is that we finally have a true democracy...rule (self rule) by the people...cos' folks we are on our own ...Government is less than dysfunctional...It is fully ignored - as it should be...People have not lost faith or confidence in government...You can not lose what never was.

May should do something useful rather than become another bickering creep in Ottawa. Those professionl bickering peeps who leave with huge pensions after accomplishing nothing of any relevance...

Finally - because we are all driven to the poing that the only way you can really accomplish anything is by operating within the private sphere....Politics in my mind are obsolete...The institution that we once respected and took great love and pride in is gone...so why does May want to go to this waste land....I don't get it.

The current state of affairs is such that we finally have a true democracy - sel;f

Food motivates her I think. Food and the sound of hot air escaping her body.

Or maybe she believes that we are presently heading on a course to ecological disaster, and the lame-ass issues the big three are yacking about this time around will be long forgotten in ten or 20 years.

Anybody who believers exponential growth can go on forever in a finite world is either a madman or an economist.

She's not naive. She's out of touch and full of herself. Her whole party is out of touch.
