Smallc Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 “Everything we have seen in the past week, including numbers from this weekend, points to a Liberal Majority,” said Maggi. “It’s always possible vote splits will mean the Liberals will fall just short, but based on our riding, regional and national work, a Liberal Majority government is the most likely outcome tomorrow night – in fact, we expect it.” http://www.nationalnewswatch.com/2015/10/18/mainstreet-predicts-a-liberal-majority-government/#.ViRN9bxQa_W Quote
cybercoma Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Still waiting on that final Nanos poll. Quote
Smallc Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 David Akin just tweeted that an unpublished pollster had the Liberals at 39 - not sure if that's the poll mainstream didn't release, or the Nanos we're waiting for. Quote
Smallc Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Again according to Akin, the Liberals, according to Forum, have a 14% advantage in the 55-64 age bracket. Quote

Smallc Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Looking at polltracker - where do the other 30 seats come from? Quebec, Ontario, and to a lesser extent BC. Quote
angrypenguin Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Congrats to the Liberal supporters. Enjoy your win tomorrow. I've done the math personally as to how much it'll affect me. I will be forced to stomach it, but hey, it is what it is. Cheers to all and have a great night. Quote My views are my own and not those of my employer.

Big Guy Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 If the last image Canadians across the country have in their minds before voting is of Harper with his hands on the shoulders of the Ford brothers then ... Smallc Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 NDP still dropping? The bottom is going to come out of the NDP. The Liberals are above them consistently in Quebec (and rising) and the Bloc is rising as well. Quote

ReeferMadness Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 The bottom is going to come out of the NDP. angrypenguin Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 I think that's what killed the CPC in Ontario. If you look at these new polls, the Liberals are walking away with Ontario. Smallc Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Which polls show the Liberals above them? The last several have showed them tied for first. Every poll released today (I believe) had them above the margin of error. Yes, it's technically a tie, but it every single says the same thing it's unlikely to be a mistake. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 This is the part that blows my mind. I'm disappointed to be living in this province. You don't think Harper should have been smart enough to see that coming? Quote
Big Guy Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 You don't think Harper should have been smart enough to see that coming? I still find that Ford rally at the last minute to be an unbelievable move. I can see where it might have helped the Etobicoke candidate but what about those folks in the East and the West. They also had to live through the Ford embarrassment on American talk shows. Somebody in the war room made a very, very big mistake.
