Ignored Users

I have never ever put a Maple Leaf Forum member on ignore. Infact, I wouldn't know how to even do it. However, I went to read a post today and discovered that the first post was missing and that that person was set to "ignore" but I could read the post if I wanted to. Well, I went to my "manage ignored users" list only to discover that there was a list of names of users who had been set to ignore.

How could this have happened?

I'm not exactly sure how this could have happened.

Can anyone else confirm that they are having the same issues?

Nope. The same three people that I put there are still there....and there are no other names that have been added to the list without my knowledge.

I had noted a couple of times over the last few days that there was a certain lack of continuity to some threads, and thought that it seemed as though something was missing or had been removed. It didn't even occur to me to check my ignored list because I never use it either.

?? Somebody messing around??

There is nothing on my ignore list now, but I wonder whether there might have been for a few days. (I suppose I should temporarily 'ignore' someone just to know how it would appear.)

If someone on your Ignore list posts a message in a thread you are viewing, the forum informs you of it, and gives you a button that you can click to view the message anyway. So if you were missing messages because of your ignore list, you would know about it.
