Mr.Canada Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 So it's fine for Harper to not to go because he's Prime Minister but it's not fine for Ignatieff who is trying to become Prime Minister? Uhm. Leaders of other countries want to meet the leader of this country not some one who has no real power. This is diplomacy. punked Posted March 8, 2011 Author Report Posted March 8, 2011 Did you ever think that not showing up is an opinion in and of itself? Of course you didn't. I hope you have that opinion on election day. 1 less Liberal vote I guess we can hope all the Liberals follower their leader on this one on election day. Quote

Yeah well if you're response is any indicator of the average NDP voter you're too illiterate to read the ballot and will probably check off a Liberal name anyhow. The last part of your post doesn't make any sense. Quote
capricorn Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 Capricorn... we finally agree. You'd be surprised Shakey. There are times I agree with you but I don't post indiscriminately. I keep my powder dry. In fact I would take it a step farther and suggest that Mr Harper go home to AB and never show his face again. God, that would be nice Frankly, I don't care one way or another where Harper lands. I vote for the party on the issues I agree with. I voted Liberal all my life until Adscam broke the trust. It helped that the Conservative Party of Canada came into being. It gave me an alternative to not voting at all. Quote "We always want the best man to win an election. Unfortunately, he never runs." capricorn Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 The title of the thread does you illiterate hack. Calm down. I wasn't responding to the thread title. I was responding to Posc. Do you have that much trouble following a conversation? By the way, you're quite obnoxious calling posters you disagree with as "illiterate", as you did Punked and me. I guess our posts struck a chord and you're frustration makes you lash out. It will pass, I'm sure. Quote "We always want the best man to win an election. Unfortunately, he never runs." Will Rogers

blueblood Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 The title of the thread does you illiterate hack. So this is the ivory tower toronto elite type our worldly friend august1991 refers to time and again. I find it rich that ignatieff bitches about parliament prorogation and not showing up for work, when he himself doesn't show up for work more than half the time. Sounds like another issue ignatieff lost credibility to layton on! nicky10013 Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 How many people have you called illiterate today? Is that the insult of the day? You're a real credit to the forum here..... Considering he blatantly said Igantieff had nothing to do with my response despite the title of the thread, the criticism is warranted whether you like it or not. Quote
nicky10013 Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 So this is the ivory tower toronto elite type our worldly friend august1991 refers to time and again. Hahahahah Ivory Tower...so you have a problem with people who are smarter than you. That much is clear. I personally don't. I went to university but know people far smarter than I could ever be. I have no problem deferring to their wisdom. Why are you so insecure that you need to belittle people's accomplishments? Because you have so few of your own? Quote

Because you have so few of your own? You started out with the ivory tower "I went to university so that makes me better than you" soap box speech. Probably the same reason you belittle people who didn't have to go to university who enjoy more financial success than many that go! You have a problem with those who are smart enough to do well financially yet didn't feel the need to go to university. As for me being an idiot. All I know is that I'm smart enough to have a larger bank account than you, and at the end of the day that's the only measuring stick that counts.
